A Look into Kagura’s Verity

This way, you can make an informed decision on whether you should spend your primogems or not.

Kagura’s Verity Stats and Passive

A fully levelled Kagura’s Verity has a base ATK of 608 and a Crit DMG substat of 66.2%. For a 5-star weapon, these stats are incredibly good and certainly help characters that play the role of the main DPS or Sub-DPS.

The weapon passive is known as the Kagura Dance of the Sacred Sakura. Due to this, characters gain the Kagura Dance effect whenever an elemental skill is used which increases the skill DMG by 12% for 16s. This has a maximum of 3 stacks. The character will also gain 12% all elemental DMG bonus when they have 3 stacks.

Who Can Use This Weapon?

Due to its stats and passive, Kagura’s Verity is definitely a strong weapon and when in the right hands, it can increase your teams overall DMG. So, let’s take a look at which characters benefit the most from this catalyst.

Yae Miko

Kagura’s Verity is the best in slot weapon for Yae Miko, the Guuji of the Grand Narakumi Shrine. Her elemental skill Yakan Evocation: Sesshou Sakura allows her to move swiftly and leave behind a Sesshou Sakura. This in turn strikes the enemy with lightning and does Electro DMG. The best part here is that her elemental skill has three charges available at C0. This means that she can not only gain the Kagura Dance effect but also get the three stacks needed for the 12% all elemental DMG bonus.

Lisa

After Yae Miko, Lisa is a good candidate for Kagura’s Verity. Her elemental skill has two effects. Upon being pressed, her elemental skill Violet Arc released a homing lightning orb. This deals Electro DMG and applies a stack of Conductive status. This has a maximum of three stacks and thus can easily trigger the weapon passive. The three stacks of Kagura’s Dance along with the 12% elemental DMG bonus will only make Lisa’s elemental burst Lightning Rose all the more explosive.

Others

Kagura’s Verity can be used by other catalyst users but there will always be some drawbacks. For instance, characters like Sucrose need constellations that give her elemental skill more charges to trigger the weapon passive. She also performs better with elemental mastery which can be gained from weapons like Mappa Mare and Sacrificial Fragments. Klee can benefit from the high base ATK and Crit DMG substat but her elemental skill Jumpy Dumpty only has two charges with a 20s cooldown period so you’ll really have to time the skill to trigger the weapon passive.

Conclusion

The Kagura’s Verity is definitely a good weapon, especially for those who enjoy playing with catalyst users. However, before you deep dive into gacha hell to get it, you need to keep in mind exactly how the weapon passive works and who can benefit from it. Other than that, happy rolling!
