Across the Wilderness Event Guide

A new simple event is now available in Genshin Impact, featuring Travelers that will participate in a special event hosted by the Adventurers’ Guild to find as many Wilderness Balloons as possible within the time limit. Like regular events, you will get a total of 420 Primogems by completing all the tasks.

Gameplay Overview

● Across the Wilderness event will be available in Genshin Impact from January 3 at 10:00 AM (Server Time) until January 13. You have 10 days to complete all the tasks and claim the rewards from the event page.

● There are 2 requirements you need to complete before you can participate in the event, which are:
1. Reach Adventure Rank 20 or above
2. Complete the Archon Quest ‘Prologue: Act III – Song of the Dragon and Freedom’

Gameplay Detail

● Talk to Vinkel to start the event quest. She is located near a teleport waypoint in the middle of Mondstadt City.

● Once the event starts, a new stage will be unlocked every day for a total of 5 days. During the challenge, you need to find as many Wilderness Balloons as possible within the time limit to earn rewards. The sooner you find all the balloons, the better your rating.

● Before starting any stage, you must equip the event gadget ‘Wilderness Compass,’ and select a Blessing to use (Fancy word for buff). During the challenge, you can use the buff to collect the balloons faster.

● Remember that you can only choose one type of Blessing for the stage you’re gonna challenge. Then, you must consume Blessed Energy to use the Wilderness Compass to gain buffs. You can charge the compass up by finding Wilderness Balloons or interacting with Blessed Energy itself (in the shape of yellow orbs). In addition, the energy within the compass will also charge passively over time, which is quite slow in my opinion.

● To step up the difficulty, there are 2 types of balloons in the challenges: Harvest Balloons & Sonar Balloons.
1. Harvest Balloons (Purple): By collecting Harvest Balloons, you will increase the overall progress of your search for Wilderness Balloons.
2. Sonar Balloons (Orange): When collecting a Sonar Balloon, several Harvest Balloons will appear around you, and these will disappear after a short time. So make sure to collect them quickly.

● You can invite a friend to take part in Across the Wilderness challenges together with you. You will receive event rewards based on your Co-Op challenge results and this will be recorded under Co-Op Mode results (There will be Solo Mode results, but the rewards are not cumulative and can only be claimed once).

● One last note, you can cheat through the event by using characters like Wanderer, Kazuha, Xiao, Yelan, and any characters that allow you to move quickly along the route.

● In addition, take advantage of Elemental Resonance and Passive Skill that will increase your character’s speed movement and reduce stamina consumption!

With the Winds

● There are 3 Blessings for this location:
1. Leapbless: Within a period after obtaining, increases your character’s jump height. Charges quickly.
2. Windbless: After obtaining it, you will create a wind current in the vicinity. Charges quickly.
3. Treasurebless: Within a period after obtaining, increases the Wilderness Balloon search radius. Charges quickly.

Tides of Jade

● A new Blessing is unlocked for this location:
4. Scoutbless: Within a period after obtaining, increases your character’s Movement SPD and increases the Wilderness Balloon search radius. Charges slowly.

Watch Out For Pedestrians!

● There is no new Blessing in this location, but there are a lot of Four-Leaf Sigils here so take advantage of it~

Rural Customs

● A new Blessing is unlocked for this location:
5. Trovebless: Within a period after obtaining, increases your character’s jump height and increases the Wilderness Balloon search radius. Charges slowly.

Sandglider

● A new Blessing is unlocked for this location:
6. Speedbless: Within a period after obtaining, increases your character’s Movement SPD and greatly decreases your character’s Stamina Consumption. Charges quickly.

Gameplay Rewards

● Since this is just a regular event, the rewards provided are normal and decent amount. Don’t forget to manually claim them from the event page before the event ends.
