Berrypuff the Blubberbeast Quest Guide

A hidden quest that was not listed in Fontaine Quests (at Reputation NPC). Need a total of 28 hours to complete this quest and get an abundance of rewards.
After completing 1 part, you need to wait for 7 hours so you can continue to part 2, then wait another 7 hours for part 3, and so on.

Part 1

➥ Teleport to Chemin de L’Espoir southeast waypoint (the farthest one) and swim northwest until you see a building. Enter it and you will automatically read the Engineer’s Notes on the shelf about a Blubberbeast named Berrypuff.

➥ Enter the underwater area and you will see the Blubberbeast. Give it a Fish and interact with it so Paimon will say that you should come back later. After that, wait for another 7 hours.

Part 2

➥ After more than 7 hours, you can find the Berrypuff staring at the northwest. Interact with it and give a fish (although it won’t eat it because of other stuff).

➥ The other ‘stuff’ you need to do first is to save another Blubberbeast trapped by waterweeds. But first, you need to absorb the ability of Hunter Ray to cut the waterweed (It’s near the building).

➥ Then, you can use it to unleash a Water Blade to cut the waterweed and complete the task. Go back to the Berrypuff and feed it a fish to complete Part 2.

Part 3

➥ Although Paimon said that Berrypuff is hiding, they’re still pretty easy to spot since it’s hiding just behind the huge coral in the middle. Once again, try to feed it a fish and fail to discover your real task for the hours.

➥ Get out of the building and Paimon will immediately mention a Clockwork Meka. Use Hunter Ray’s Water Blade to defeat the enemies and complete the task. Go back to the Berrypuff and feed it a fish to complete Part 3.

Part 4

➥ Right after you enter the building, you will immediately be met by an anxious Blubberbeast.

➥ The task for today is the same as Part 3, which is to defeat Clockwork Mekas that are surrounding a Blubberbeast. After that, go back to the Berrypuff and feed it a fish to complete Part 4.

Part 5

➥ On the last part, there are no more tasks and you can bring Berrypuff outside. As a gratitude, the Blubberbeast left you a reward in the building.

➥ Enter the building again and interact with the ‘Dig’ option on the conch to get a Luxurious Chest and a hidden achievement ‘Blubby, Chubby, Creating Evolution.’

Extra

➥ This part has no rewards or anything but it’s worth mentioning that you can find the Berrypuff again in another location. Teleport to Chemin de L’Espoir southeast waypoint and swim west (This spot is also north of the done where Berrypuff lived before).
