Blazing Poetry is the sixth journey in the event Eight Locales Over Mountains and Seas. With much of Liyue still left to explore, Kichiboushi’s travels continue. Of course, as the Tanuki discovers the wonders outside of Chinju Forest, you have to accompany him to keep him safe.
To access this event, Travellers need to be at AR 30 and finish the following quests:
- Ritou Escape Plan
- Archon Quest: Chapter II: Act1: The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia
- Tanuki Bayashi in the Forest which is a part of the world quest Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual
- Complete Eight Locales Over Mountains and Seas
- Eight Locales over Mountains and Seas: Snowswept Fairytale
- Soliloquy of Distant Island Peaks
- Two Cities’ Recommendation
- The Wonders of Adeptal Amber
- One Hundred Sights of Dihua
Teleport to the waypoint closest to the Pyro Regisvine to start the quest, close enough to see Luhua Pool. As Kichiboushi admires the view, Paimon will wonder if Vermeer has finished his painting of the area. This will lead to a debate over which is better, photographs or paintings. This also means explaining the difference between the two to Kichiboushi.
Paimon then says that perhaps people prefer photos over paintings because paintings take too long which can lead to leg cramping. This leads Kichiboushi to share how sore his legs were when he finally got free from the stone he had been sealed in. Even though he was free, he was in pain for quite sometime.
After that, Kichiboushi notices a Flaming Flower and is fascinated by it, especially since he has never seen a plant like that in Chinju Forest. Your task here will be to get Kichiboushi a Flaming Flower Stamen. If you have one in your inventory already, you can hand that over. If not, you’ll need to have either a cryo or hydro character in your party. After that, find a Flaming Flower and use an elemental skill on it. When you do that, you can pick the stamen otherwise the flower will cause damage while applying Pyro.
Since Kichiboushi has never seen a Flaming Flower, traveler decides to show him the biggest flower of them all, the Regisvine. Once in its cave, take a picture of Kichiboushi and then, get ready to rumble.
In the later stages of the game, fighting a Regisvine isn’t a difficult task. But if you’re still working your way up, to fight a Pyro Regisvine you’ll need at least one hydro character in your party. A good option for this is Barbara since she can apply Hydro with her normal attacks. Using them, break the Regisvine’s core. This will make it go down for a while and you can cause damage without worrying about a counter attack. While other elements like Geo, Anemo, Cryo and Electo can break the core, it takes much longer compared to Hydro attacks.
Once the Regisvine is defeated, you’re done for the day!
For finishing the Blazing Poetry quest, you’ll receive 30 Primogems, 20,000 Mora, 2 Hero’s Wit, 2 Guide to Gold and 3 Piece of Aerosiderite.
