End of the Line Weapon: Sumeru’s Free 4-Star Fish Bow

Learn where and how to get the Sumeru's free 4-star bow End of the Line and its refinement materials in this guide.

The long wait is over! The newest region, Sumeru, is here and has brought lots of exciting stuff for Genshin Impact players to explore and learn about. Among these newest additions are the new Fishing Spots scattered all over the Dendro nation.

Now, some players are fishing for several reasons: they just want to try and have fun, others might do it for the achievements. Because yes, you can gain achievements and primogems just by catching Medakas, Kois and Pufferfishes. But ultimately, most of us do it to obtain free weapons.

In Genshin Impact Version 3.0, aside from the Sumeru’s New Forgeable Weapons that were introduced, you can also get a free 4-star bow called End of The Line, and exchanging certain types of fishes is the only way to get it.

Go to the Sumeru Fishing Assocation

Sumeru Fishing Association

We can find the Sumeru Fishing Association near Port Ormos. Just head over to the Fishes icon on your map and talk to an NPC along the coast called Loumelat.

By talking to Loumelat, it will give you access to a menu where you can purchase various items such as the formula for Sugardew Bait, Shaded Clarity, a Sumeru-themed Rod and of course, the free 4-star weapon called End of the Line and its refinement materials.

To exchange for this weapon you will need to catch the following Fishes:

(x4) Peach of the Deep Waves
(x16) Lazurite Axe Marlin
(x16) Halcyon Jade Axe Marlin

As shown above, exchanging 4 peach of deep waves, 16 lazurite axe marlin and 16 halcyon jade axe marlin will only give you Refinement Rank 1 End of the Line. If ever you want to enhance the refinement of this bow, you will need to purchase its refinement materials as well in the Sumeru Fishing Assocation.

To do this, exchange 2 peach of the deep waves, 8 lazurite axe marlin and 8 halcyon jade axe marlin for one Original Fish Ointment. You can purchase this up to four times, making it so you can enhance your End of the Line up to Refinement Rank 5.

Note that catching the fishes above will require you to craft the Sugardew Bait. You can purchase its Formula from Loumelat as well for three Medakas, another type of fish. And to craft Sugardew bait, you will need: 1 Harra Fruit and 1 Sumeru rose.
