Fontemer Aberrant Route & Farming Guide

Fontemer Aberrants is a new Normal Enemy in Fontaine that drops Transoceanic Pearl, Transoceanic Chunk, and Xenochromatic Crystal. This guide only consists of the Fontemer Aberrants on the surface of Fontaine and does not include any from the underwater area.

In the route provided, you will meet 92 Fontemer Aberrants of various species (Armored Crab, Blubberbeast, etc) that stays on the surface. Unfortunately, their drop rate is quite low and a small portion of these enemies might not even drop anything. Each of them will drop around 1-3 Gears of different rarity (or not drop anything at all), and it is up to RNG whether you will gain lots or less. But generally, you should be able to obtain around 100 Pearl/Chunk/Crystals (of random rarity).

In this location, you need to choose the ‘Dig’ option near the conch-like stone near the shore. Only after that will the Fontemer Aberrant spawn.
