Event Overview:
➥ This event contains a total of 7 stages, each will be unlocked per day starting from the first day of the event. In each stage, you will control Lil Fungi to defeat the Mechanici.

Gameplay Details

1) Start the Quest

➥ Teleport to Port Ormos and meet up with Haniyyah and Bongo-Head. They will let you enter the tutorial on how to complete the challenge but I will still cover it below. Don’t forget to talk to Bongo-Head and Kindlejoy to complete the quest and get your first Primogem rewards.

2) Choose the Challenge

➥ There are a total of 7 challenges in Fungus Mechanicus, and after the event begins, a new stage will unlock on each day for a total of 7 stages. In the first few challenges, only a few Fungi will be unlocked (gradually unlocking all), and you can see the opposing Mechanici for each challenge before you began so you can create a proper team after knowing the enemies’ structure.

3) Destroy the Mechanici

You can see a small white/red circle and line under Fungi/Mechanici

➥ During the event, your objective in each challenge is to direct your Lil’ Fungi to defeat all the Mechanici. Your Fungi will automatically choose the nearest Mechanicus and attack it. You can check which tower your Fungi is aiming at by looking at the white indicator lines. In return, the Mechanici will do the same and track the nearest Fungi closest to it, and you can see it from the red indicator line.

➥ You can control and switch between Fungi you control to attack certain Mechanici or to direct the Fungi to move to that spot (by clicking any spot on the field). To do this, you can either:
1. Click on the avatars of the Lil’ Fungi on the right.
2. Use the number keys (for PC).
3. Directly click on the Lil’ Fungi on the field.

➥ Each Fungi have its own Ultimate skill and you can use it once its energy bar is full (Can be seen on its avatar). However, you can only activate them by using the Marvelous Jellies (at the bottom screen). There are 2 ways to gain Marvelous Jellies:
1. Marvelous Jellies will restore over time.
2. Take Plauditory Protection (yellow leaves) that will spawn on the field.

➥ Keep in mind that certain skills from certain Fungi can only be used after you select any opposing Mechanici. Pay attention to the top screen as it will show a popup ‘Please select a skill target.’

All Challenges Guide

1) Flame of Samadhi

➥ The Lil’ Fungi you are recommended to choose are (Names & Ultimate Skill):
1. Bongo Head: Deals AoE Hydro DMG and heals the whole party.
2. Duelblaze: Deals AoE Pyro DMG.
3. Twirly-Whirly: Anemo CC gathers enemies and deals continuous Anemo DMG.
4. Blitzara: Deals Electro DMG

➥ Your main DPS here is Duelblaze and Blitzara, creating an Overload reaction. Twirly-Whirly will help spread the element with its Swirl and amplify the damage. While Bongo Head can create with its Hydro but the focus here is the healing.

➥ It’s the first stage so it won’t be too hard for you to complete. Since the Mechanici mostly spawns near each other, let your Fungi target whatever nearest tower. You can focus on activating their Ultimate (especially Bongo Head for healing and Twirly-Whirly for Swirl).

2) Icy Clarity

➥ The Lil’ Fungi you are recommended to choose are (Names & Ultimate Skill):
1. Bongo Head: Deals AoE Hydro DMG and heals the whole party.
2. Duelblaze: Deals AoE Pyro DMG.
3. Twirly-Whirly: Anemo CC gathers enemies and deals continuous Anemo DMG.
4. Kindlejoy: Deals continuous Pyro DMG.

➥ The two important Fungi are the Duelblaze and Twirly-Whirly as you will spam their Ultimate whenever possible. After that is Kindlejoy which benefits if there is only one Mechanici on the field since its AoE is small. Last but not least, Bongo Head with a convenient Hydro + healing ability.

➥ From the start till the end, focus on using Duelblaze and Twirly-Whirly’s Ultimate Skill, and make sure to target the middle Mechanici. If the remaining Mechanicis are too far away from each other or there’s only one Mechanici left in the wave, use Kindlejoy’s Ultimate. Lastly, Bongo-Head’s Ultimate when any of the Lil Fungi’s HP is below 50%.

3) Waterbag Barrier

➥ The Lil’ Fungi you are recommended to choose are (Names & Ultimate Skill):
1. Magishroom: Deals Dendro DMG consecutively and heals.
2. Duelblaze: Deals AoE Pyro DMG.
3. Twirly-Whirly: Anemo CC gathers enemies and deals continuous Anemo DMG.
4. Kindlejoy: Deals continuous Pyro DMG.

➥ Yes, you do not need Bongo Head at this stage because Magishroom alone is enough to heal all the Fungi. As you can see in the video above, I only focus on brute-forcing with spamming skills and since Magishroom’s Ultimate focus on dealing damage in addition to indirectly healing, you don’t have to worry about others’ health.

➥ The two skills you need to use first are Duelblaze then continued with Twirly-Whirly to Swirl Pyro to all nearest Mechanici. Once Mechanici is afflicted to Pyro, use Magishroom’s Ultimate to trigger Burning and also heal allies. If there are any Mechanici that is too far away from another group of Mechanici, lead Kindlejoy to it and use its Ultimate.

4) Thundering Devices

➥ The Lil’ Fungi you are recommended to choose are (Names & Ultimate Skill):
1. Bongo Head: Deals AoE Hydro DMG and heals the whole party.
2. Gusto-Frost: Deals AoE Cryo DMG.
3. Twirly-Whirly: Anemo CC gathers enemies and deals continuous Anemo DMG.
4. Stormstress: Heal allies and remove elemental applications on other Fungi.

➥ Once you start the challenge, move Gusto-Frosto to the middle of the Mechanici and use its Ultimate. Then, move any Fungi to the Mystic Blaze to inflict Pyro on the nearest Mechanici. This will result in a Melt reaction.

➥ After the Mechanici is affected by Cryo/Pyro, use Twirly-Whirly’s Ultimate to Swirl those elements. Bongo-Head and Stormstress are there to heal your Fungi whenever you feel the HP is going too low for your liking. I recommend 2 healers because the last wave deals huge damage and your Fungi will die if you only bring one healer.

5) One in a Thousand

➥ The Lil’ Fungi you are recommended to choose are (Names & Ultimate Skill):
1. Bongo Head: Deals AoE Hydro DMG and heals the whole party.
2. Duelblaze: Deals AoE Pyro DMG.
3. Twirly-Whirly: Anemo CC gathers enemies and deals continuous Anemo DMG.
4. Kindlejoy: Deals continuous Pyro DMG.

➥ Since there is already Mystic Phantasm and Mystic Freezing in the challenge (deals Hydro/Cryo DMG to nearby Mechanici), it’s better to use Fungi with different elements to trigger reactions. Duelblaze and Twirly-Whirly are the main priority here to inflict Pyro DMG and Swirl them to the nearest enemies. Bongo Head is there to heal, while you can replace Kindlejoy with any Fungi you want (preferably a single target Fungi).

➥ From the start, use Duelblaze’s Ultimate to deal AoE Pyro DMG before using Twirly-Whirly to Swirl them all. This tactic can be used every time new spawns. Then, move Bongo Head to the nearest Mystic Phantasm/Freezing to activate it. If your Fungi are low on health, use its Ultimate too. Lastly, Kindlejoy with its single target Ultimate is beneficial when there is a lone Mechanici separated from another group of Mechanici.

6) Storm-Proof… Not

➥ The Lil’ Fungi you are recommended to choose are (Names & Ultimate Skill):
1. Bongo Head: Deals AoE Hydro DMG and heals the whole party.
2. Duelblaze: Deals AoE Pyro DMG.
3. Twirly-Whirly: Anemo CC gathers enemies and deals continuous Anemo DMG.
4. Gusto-Frost: Deals AoE Cryo DMG.

➥ Today, you will have Mystic Thunder which will deal Electro DMG to enemies (if your Fungi is hovering over it). So, I recommend Fungi other than Electro elements so you can have an easier time triggering elemental reactions. The Fungi I recommend are Bongo-Head, Duelbaze, Twirly-Whirly, and Gusto-Frosto.

➥ When starting the challenge, focus on spamming Duelblaze and Twirly-Whirly’s Ultimate to spread Pyro on Mechanici. Then, make sure to move any Fungi (preferably Bongo-Head) to hover on any nearest Mystic Thunder to inflict Electro. In addition, make sure to use Bongo-Head’s Ultimate when your Fungi’s HP is low. Lastly, let Gusto-Frosto loose so it can deal Cryo damage and trigger even more reactions. No need to use its Ultimate as it’s better to use the limited Plauditory Protection on the other three Fungi’s Ultimate.

7) Caution, Madness Ahead

➥ The Lil’ Fungi you are recommended to choose are (Names & Ultimate Skill):
1. Bongo Head: Deals AoE Hydro DMG and heals the whole party.
2. Duelblaze: Deals AoE Pyro DMG.
3. Kindlejoy: Deals continuous Pyro DMG.
4. Magishroom: Deals Dendro DMG consecutively.

➥ The title for the last challenge is really suitable because of all the madness that is in the stage (lots of different Mechanici and most spawns far from each other). Thus, Twirly-Whirly isn’t the best to be used here. I recommend Bongo Head for healing, Duelblaze and Kindlejoy for Pyro DMG, and Magishroom to trigger Burning and yet another healing to the team. Yes, you should bring 2 healers because the Mechanici here is quite relentless in attacking your Fungi.

➥ When you start the challenge, make sure your Fungi (preferably Bongo Head) hovers above Mystic Energizer so you can obtain more Marvelous Gels. Then, keep spamming your Fungus’ Ultimate to deal damage and heal your team (You get quite a lot of Marvelous Gels so don’t worry too much). Since the Mechanici is scattered on the field, control your Fungi and make sure they focus on one Mechanici first before attacking the others.
