Genshin Impact 3.4 Special Program Livestream Overview

There are many Travelers that miss the 3.4 live streams because they’ve been busy with real life, but don’t worry. This post will include all the information shared in the recent live stream. Those who do not have the time to watch the program can read this instead to not miss out on any valuable information!

New Characters

Alhaitham

➥ Rarity: 5-Star
➥ Vision: Dendro
➥ Weapon: Sword

➥ Elemental Skill: Alhaitham is very focused on efficiency, in that he uses ‘Chisel-Light Mirrors’ to attack his enemies. When he uses his Elemental Skill, he will generate Chisel-Light Mirrors around him. When Alhaitham possesses Chisel-Light Mirrors, his Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attacks will be converted to Dendro DMG that can be overridden.

➥ When attacks of the aforementioned kinds hit opponents, the Chisel-Light Mirrors will engage in coordinated combat and unleash a Projection Attack that deals AoE Dendro DMG based on the number of Mirrors on the field.

➥ Elemental Burst: Alhaitham’s Elemental Skill and Talent can generate Chisel-Light Mirrors, and his Elemental Burst consumes Chisel-Light Mirrors to enhance AoE Dendro DMG, generating Chisel-Light Mirrors thereafter. The number of Chisel-Light Mirrors that Alhaitham has will affect the amount of damage done by their coordinated attacks and will also affect the number of damage instances dealt by his Elemental Burst.

➥ Passive Skill: When Alhaitham crafts Weapon Ascension Materials, he has a chance to double the product.

Yaoyao

Streetward Rambler (Madame Ping)’s youngest disciple. A gentle and caring ‘little adult’

➥ Rarity: 4-Star
➥ Vision: Dendro
➥ Weapon: Polearm

➥ Elemental Skill: By holding E, Yaoyao will send out her sidekick; a device called Yuegui. Yuegui will throw out White Jade Radishes and will attack opponents as well as restore HP to teammates, depending on the surrounding combat situation. Upon exploding, White Jade Radishes will heal characters within a certain AoE based on the Elemental Skill’s value.

➥ Elemental Burst: When Yaoyao uses her Elemental Burst, her full potential will be unleashed, entering a special state. In this state, Yaoyao’s Movement SPD and Dendro RES will increase. When she is sprinting, jumping, and running, multiple copies of Yuegui on the field will tag along and constantly throw White Jade Radishes at nearby opponents.
➥ While Yaoyao is in the Adeptal Legacy state when casting her Elemental Burst, the White Jade Radish explosions will heal characters based on the Elemental Burst’s value.

➥ Passive Skill: She has an affinity for small animals, thus her passive skill. When she approaches creatures like the Crystalfly, she won’t scare them away.

Light of Foliar Incision

➥ A new 5-star Sword ‘Light of Foliar Incision‘ will only be available in the Weapon Banner.

New Boss & Enemies

Setekh Wenut

➥ You will encounter the Wenut – a predator lurking under the golden sands in some parts of the area. Wenut relies on sounds and vibrations to track down its prey. It can use the power of Anemo and can go into a floating state, firing Windbite Bullets at its prey.

Eremite Variant

➥ New addition to Eremite enemies: the Eremite Scorching Loremaster and the Eremite Floral Ring-Dancer.

Consecrated Beasts

➥ The Consecrated Beasts that live in the desert also harbor immense power. Currently, we can only see these two beasts (scorpion and bird), there may be more beasts in the new area.

New Quest

Alhaitham Story Quest

➥ Alhaitham Story Quest ‘Vultur Volans Chapter‘ will feature the moment when he acts as the Acting Grand Sage after the departure of the Grand Sage, Azar. After the end of the crisis in Sumeru and the shutdown of the Akasha system, the Akademiya still has many problems that need to be solved urgently.
➥ And Alhaitham, as Acting Grand Sage and one of the brightest minds in the Akademiya will face new challenges. Whatever happens, Alhaitham’s mind will remain calm and clear, and can see the bigger picture to solve the problems with maximum efficiency.

➥ New questline ‘The Dirge of Bilqis‘ can be accepted after completing Golden Slumber.
You will go on another adventure with your old friend, Jeht and Benben. At the beginning or your journey into a new region, save for the giant tornado in the distance, you will also encounter a large settlement of desert nomads called the Tanit Camps, which is where the story begins.
➥ The story will revolve around the search for an Eternal Oasis. Legend has it that King Deshret built an eternal space of stillness somewhere to honor the Goddess of Flower.

New Events

The Exquisite Night Chimes

➥ One of the gameplay showcases a traditional Liyue art: Paper Theater, where you need to move stage sections that have not yet been locked in place to change the actor’s path and avoid the traps and guide the actors toward the designated objective to keep the play going.
➥ Along the way, there are also many clever devices that can be used to control the stage. If you find yourself stuck, you can also enlist the aid of veteran artists to make the performance easier.

➥ The 2nd gameplay is a parkour game ‘Radiant Sparks.’ Popular gameplay of racing and collecting gold coins, with fireworks as decoration to the tracks.
➥ During the challenge, you can obtain the technique ‘Sparkling Rush‘ by collecting Aegises of Sparks. By unleashing this technique, you can turn into a firework and pierce through the barriers. You can also dash forward, collecting all the golden coins nearby.
And the ‘Firework Fruits‘ on the track will use the power of fireworks to send you into the sky.

➥ The 3rd gameplay is Sailing challenges that can be done in Single-Player or Co-Op Mode. This time, within each level, more complex marine environments will emerge.
➥ For example: The Floating Lanterns’ Mystique has puzzles that need to be solved by looking at the color of fireworks. You only get gold coins when you make the right choice, otherwise your Waverider will take some damage.

➥ The 4th and last gameplay is the usual combat challenge to wipe out monster camps.

➥ In addition to taking part in the event to obtain Primogems, Materials, and other rewards, after gathering enough Festive Fever to a certain level, you can invite one of nine 4-Star Liyue characters.

➥ Last but not least, the cumulative login event ‘May Fortune Find You‘ will also be available during this Lantern Rite where you can claim rewards including up to 10 Intertwined Fates. And to thank you for all your support over the past year, the developer team will also be going to use in-game mail to send you another 3 Intertwined Fates.

Second Blooming

➥ Team Challenges where you need to form three teams to complete three consecutive combat rounds. When in the process of forming your team, there is a ‘Linkage’ mechanism where the Linked characters can appear during multiple rounds for their party and will obtain bonus effects.
➥ To enhance the experience, this challenge event will also offer Trial Characters to help expand your team selection.
➥ It’s worth noting that in this event, completing all the stages and reaching the target scores will get your Lisa’s new outfit, ‘A Sobriquet Under Shade’ for free.

Warrior’s Spirit

➥ A martial arts competition organized by the Yashiro Commission will also be held in Inazuma. When doing this challenge, you will not be able to use Elements and have to fight by parrying and using sword techniques. Seize the moment and parry when your opponent attacks to completely reduce damage taken, reset your parry cooldown, and accumulate Spirit.

➥ When your attacks hit the opponents, and as time goes on, your Spirit will also build, and after the bar is full, you will be able to cast sword techniques. Sometimes, the opponent will also perform a powerful, but seldom-used Ultimate Technique.

Exhilarating Extreme Beetle Brawl

➥ While the people of Liyue are celebrating the Lantern Rite, Itto has been busy organizing an event called the ‘Almighty Arataki Extraordinary and Exhilarating Extreme Beetle Brawl.’
➥ Beetle fighting is a sport that requires a lot of skills against opponents of all sizes and abilities. If you want to win, you have to be able to adapt. Onikabuto can consume Stamina to move forward, move backward, or dodge.

➥ After you hold the charge energy, the Onikabuto can attack their opponent, dealing damage. If you advance until you reach your opponent’s position, you can unleash the beetle’s charged attack ‘Piercing Strike‘ to deal more damage.
➥ Beware that if two Onikabuto strike at the same time, your Onikabuto will be knocked down and unable to deal damage. Therefore, master the timing and pacing of charging up energy, and know to retreat when necessary, in order to win the beetle fights.

New Skin

Kamisato Ayaka – Springbloom Missive

➥ Can only be obtained through Shop using Genesis Crystal after version 3.4 at a discounted price for a limited time. The price will be reverted to normal starting with version 3.5. Unknown whether 4-star or 5-star.

Lisa – A Sobriquet Under Shade

➥ Can be obtained for free from the Second Blooming event by completing event tasks. Since it’s a free skin, 4-star outfit.

Special Event

➥ Heated Battle Mode will be available for a limited time and will be available on a regular basis in future versions. Each edition will enable a special rule, and these rules may lead to a completely different experience from the usual gameplay.
➥ The special rule in version 3.4 is you will skip the Elemental Dice Roll Phase and go straight to getting 8 Omni-Element Dice.

New BGM

The Stellar Moments Vol. 3

➥ The Genshin Impact OST – Volume 3 of The Stellar Moments is on its way. The Stellar Moment Vol. 3 will feature 26 tracks composed by the HOYO-MiX music team for the Genshin Impact characters that you are familiar with, such as Itto, Ayato, Nilou, Nahida, and others. Many songs from character trailers and character demos will all appear on this OST.

New Map

Desert of Hadramaveth

➥ A new area in Sumeru, the Desert of Hadramaveth. Aside from the fundamental desert elements, the art uses tornadoes as an anchor point, making the whole terrain look like a vortex.
➥ Compared to the desert in the south, due to the impact of a huge tornado in the center, from time to time, there will be raging sandstorms and your visibility will be reduced due to these sandstorms. The closer you get to the center of the storm, the stronger its effects will be.

➥ This desert was once a lush forest. A landscape that has been previously buried underground has been uncovered thanks to the geological changes brought by the tornadoes.
➥ Such as the huge clusters of ruins embedded in the cliffs, caves filled with thorns, giant vines, and sharp rocks, among other things. At the bottom of a large rift valley, you will find many traces of Ancient Oases.

➥ And the ruins that exist underground, in fact, most of them are the ruins of the old royal city of Gurabad.
