Event Overview:
➥ The photo-taking phase consists of the first six days of the event. There will be a different photo subject assigned on each day of the photo-taking phase, namely, 6 subjects in total.
➥ During the photo-taking phase, when photographing the subject with the Image Sampling Kamera, you can randomly obtain a “sample” with different characteristics (the colors of the samples and photography subjects are unrelated). You have 10 sheets of film each day with which to take photos, and any unused film will be cleared at the end of each day.
● Each time you collect all 5 characteristic samples, visit Lepine-Pauline to exchange them for “Research Awards” and claim the rewards within. Up to 7 Research Awards can be exchanged for during the event.
● During the event, you can exchange samples with your friends.
※ After the photo-taking phase ends, you will ❌ no longer be able to obtain samples through photographing. However, you can still ✅ exchange samples with your friends and exchange your collected samples for Research Awards during the event.

Recommended Locations:

This is my personal observation (correct me if I’m wrong), but you can’t take a picture of the same enemy. However, you can take a picture of the same species.
Example: You can take a picture of Anemo Slime 1, after that, you can’t take a picture of it again. But, you can take a picture of Anemo Slime 2.

Recommended Locations:

For their location, you can look up Teyvat Interactive Map since it has everything~ But my favorite location would be in Mondstadt (map above) with all the Valberry, Pinecone, and Apples in very near spots. The 3 Yelan screenshots above are the best location IMO, enough to use up all 10 sheets (4 Valberry, 5 Pinecones, and 6 Apples).

Day 3) Basically Blue Wild Creature

Recommended Locations:

Before teleporting, add Sayu to your team so the Crystalflies won’t fly away. Once you arrive at the S7, you will stand on a pillar. From that pillar, you can already take pictures of 6 animals: 2 birds and 4 Crystalflies. Then, look to your southwest to see another flying bird. Lastly, walk north a little bit and you will see another 3 birds. Anyway, just look at your surroundings and you will see them all.

Day 4) Staff-Wielding Opponent

Recommended Locations:

Teleport to Cecilia Garden Domain and there will be 2 groups of enemies; on your left and your right. In total, there are 5 enemies here you can take a picture of. If the Wooden Shield Hilichurl here lose their shield from the Pyro, you can still take a picture of it.
Teleport to Wolvendom waypoint and go forward a little bit to see 3 enemies you can take a picture of.
Teleport to Forsaken Rift Domain and head west to the Hilichurl camp, there are 4 enemies here you can take a picture of.
Teleport to the Temple of the Lion and enter the Elemental Trial: Superconduct (with Kaeya and Lisa). There are 6 Hilichurls in here you can take a picture of.

Day 5) Basically Purple Teyvat Specialty

Recommended Locations:

I recommend taking a picture of Lumidouce Bells or Lavender Melons because they have 3 fruits/flowers on one plant. There are many good spots but I just chose this one since it’s near together and you can complete them easily. Go to Weapon Domain in Fontaine and you can see 2 Electro Crystals and 3 Lumidouce Bells there. After that, go southwest towards many Bulle Fruit trees and you will many more Lumidouce Bells.

Day 6) Legless Wild Non-Fish Creature

Flying Serpent

Recommended Locations:

Let’s just go with Crystalfly because there’s a lot of them in Teyvat. Don’t forget to add Sayu or Yaoyao to the team so the Crystalflies won’t be startled when you get too close. 4 from the S7 in Windrise and 6 from Guyun Stone Forest Domain is enough. 👍

If You’re Missing Out on Any Days

Unfortunately, you can’t get back the already expired films as they will not stack but refreshed the next day.

Example: If you only use 5 films today, it will be removed completely on the next day and be replaced with a new 10 films (not stacked into 15 films)

Now to the main point, if you missed a few days, you can still get the rewards, BUT only if you received the colors you don’t have from other friends. Try entering any Genshin Discord (the best would be official) and ask in any co-op channel if they can provide the colors you’re missing. Or you can try in the comment section below.
