Hydro Barrier in Thalatta Submarine Canyon

A Hydro Barrier can be seen in Thalatta Submarine Canyon, blocking the path to get a Precious Chest and a Hydroculus. This is how to complete the puzzle and undo the barrier.

How to Remove the Hydro Barrier in Genshin Impact Thalatta Submarine Canyon

➥ Teleport to Thalatta Submarine Canyon underwater waypoint (right below the writing) and you will immediately see the Hydro Barrier on your right. To remove the Hydro Barrier and unlock the Precious Chest, you need to find 3 Seelies and return them to their court (You can use Elemental Sight to see the general direction of each Seelie).

➥ The first Seelie is right behind the Teleport Waypoint near the Time-Trial Challenge. You need to complete the Time-Trial Challenge first or the Seelie won’t move from its spot.

➥ The challenge is to destroy 12 Pufferfruit within 30 seconds. It’s best if you absorb the ability of the Hunter’s Ray near this location first before starting the challenge. Take advantage of the Hydro Slime Bombs on each group of Pufferfruit to blow them up all at once. After the challenge is completed, an Exquisite Chest will spawn and the Seelie will start moving.

➥ The second Seelie is southeast from the teleport waypoint and can be seen trapped inside a Seagrass. Once again, use a Hunter’s Ray ability to destroy the weak link of the Seagrass and free the Seelie. But that’s not all!

➥ On the way back to its Court, it will float along the path with more Seagrass. These are the special kind of Seagrass and you need to remove all the weak link from all Seagrass at the same time to completely destroy them.

➥ The last Seelie is floating near a locked Exquisite Chest surrounded by Mek enemies a bit north of the Teleport Waypoint.

➥ Defeat all enemies here to unlock the treasure chest and make the Seelie return to its Court. Now that all Seelies are back , the dome will be removed along with the seal on the Precious Chest.
