Hydro Phantasm Route & Farming Guide

Tainted Hydro Phantasm is an Elite Enemy in Fontaine that drops Drop of Tainted Water, Scoop of Tainted Water, and Newborn Tainted Hydro Phantasm. As of version 4.0, these enemies are only available on the surface of Fontaine (and some of them in Liyue).

In the route provided, you will meet 22 Tainted Hydro Phantasms. It’s a small number, but their drop rate is really high. Each of them is most likely confirmed to drop around 1-3 Tainted Waters of different rarity, but it is up to RNG whether you will gain lots or less. Based on my personal experience, you should be able to obtain around 130 Tainted Waters (of random rarity).
