Finding the quest
The world quest, Hyperion’s Dirge, can be found in the Dainichi Mikoshi. Teleport there and then go to the lower part of the ruins where, in a room, you’ll find two Ruin Guards. Defeat them and then activate the two pyro mechanisms there. Once that is done, a secret room will open up revealing a Sinshade named Aberaku within.

Aberaku will reveal to you that he is the creator of the Helios (Dainichi Mikoshi). When the people of Enkanomiya first arrived deep within the abyss, all they ever experienced was darkness. And in this darkness, the bathysmal Vishaps ruled. That is until Aberaku created the Helios, an artificial sun that drove away the creatures that tried to hunt humans, allowing them to live in peace.
However, sometime later, Aberaku was accused of treason and put under house arrest. Now, his soul has been scattered throughout Enkanomiya and he needs your help to put it together. To do so, you will have to finish three challenges located in Evernight Temple, the Narrows and Serpent’s Heart.
Evernight Temple

Teleport to the Evernight Temple and from there, head to the location marked above. You’ll reach an area with Key Sigils all around. To finish the first part of this challenge, you’ll need to have enough keys to activate every single Sigil. Once that is done, Aberaku will appear before you and introduce himself again. He will then explain that you have to complete a trial before you can collect his crown that had been buried here.
Interact with him again and he will ask you if you’re ready. Once your team is set, begin the challenge and face the following enemies:
- Rockfond Rifthound x 1
- Rockfond Rifthound x 2
You will have 60 seconds to finish this challenge. When done, you’ll receive a Precious Chest as well as the crown.
The Narrows
After you’ve collected the piece from Evernight Temple, teleport to the Narrows. Head on over to the place marked on the map below and fight the bathysmal Vishap roaming about. Once its been defeated, activate all the Sigils.

Aberaku will appear and reintroduce himself. He will then ask you to complete the challenge and retrieve his bones. When you’re ready to fight, interact with him again to start the challenge.
You’ll have to fight the following enemies:
- Primordial Bathysmal Vishap Hatchling x 3
You’ll have 30 seconds to defeat them and once you’re done, you’ll receive a Precious chest.
Serpent’s Heart
Like before, teleport to the Serpent’s Heart and then head to the location marked on the map. You’ll find the Key Sigils there.

As before, Aberaku will appear and when you interact with him, he’ll ask you to clear a challenge to retrieve his clothes. You will have to fight the following enemies:
- Electro Abyss Mage x 1
- Hydro Abyss Mage x 1
- Pyro Abyss Mage x 1
You’ll have 60 seconds to defeat them. When you’re done, you’ll receive a Precious Chest.
The final stretch
Once you have all the pieces, teleport back to the Dainichi Mikoshi and head over to the room where you first found Aberaku. Inside, place the pieces as indicated by the game. When that is done, a cutscene will begin showing that a platform has appeared on top of the Dainichi Mikoshi.
Use the hydro phase gate that will appear in the room and you’ll be taken to the platform where Aberaku is waiting for you. With his soul now intact, he will reveal to you what truly happened to him.
In the beginning, the people of Byakuya lived in fear of the Dragonheir of the Depths that ruled in the darkness. That is until Aberaku created the Helios or the Dainichi Mikoshi. Because of this artificial sun, the darkness was driven away and the land was henceforth known as Byakuyakoku. Under the false light, the people could live in peace and while Aberaku was proud of his creation, he didn’t see the tragic end that awaited him.
Now, safe from the Dragonheirs, the nobility of the Byakuyakoku took control and claimed that a god truly resided within the Dainichi Mikoshi. They then appointed an infant as the ‘Sunchild’ and said that as descendants of the deity, the child would rule over the nation. In reality, however, the children who didn’t know any better would simply be puppets controlled by the nobles. When Aberaku, as the creator of the Helios, tried to fight this, he was accused of treason and then imprisoned, leading to his death.
After sharing his history, Aberaku will give you the Divine Bridle.
