Kunado's Trial Quest Guide

Kunado’s Trial is a part of the world quest series Erebos’ Secret. This is one of the three trials that travellers have to face in order to learn the truth about Enkanomiya as well as Orobashi’s death. Being the trial of valour, in this, traveller’s will have to fight enemies in order to prove their strength to the Jibashiri.

Prerequisites

In order to unlock the trial, traveller’s must finish the following quests

Starting the trial

Since the trial takes place on a floating island, traveller’s will first have to teleport to the Serpent’s Heart. Once there, take the Emanant Skylight available in the nearby pool to reach the location. Before you can leave, however, you will have to defeat the three Bathsymal Vishaps roaming about in the area.

Once in the Skylight, you’ll be taken to the portal above and from there, you’ll reach Kunado’s Locus. Talk to the Sinshade, Daimon, who is standing in front of the gate and start the trial.

Trial of Valour

When you’re heading for the trial location, you’ll find yourself in an area full of different kinds of Spectres. Unless you need their drops, ignore them and head to a gap in the floor which will lead to the actual trial area. Over there, you’ll find four statues along with a sun and moon mechanism. The statues will have barriers around them, making it impossible to reach the Flames in their palms.

At this point, there is no point in switching to Whitenight because that won’t remove the barriers. Instead, using a Pyro character light up the torches in front of the statues. You don’t have to follow a particular pattern. Just light the torches. Once that is done, enemies will begin to come in waves.

Here are the enemies you’ll have to face:

1 x Hydro Abyss Mage | 1 x Cryo Abyss Mage | 1 x Electro Abyss Mage
1 x Primordial Bathysmal Vishap Hatchling | 1 x Rimebiter Bathysmal Vishap Hatchling
1 x Abyss Herald: Wicked Torrents.

After you defeat all the enemies, the barriers will drop and you’ll be able to get the Flames.
