PSA #1: Currently, Mona is considered better as a sub DPS than main due to how little her abilities and constellations benefit her than her team. That doesn’t mean she can’t become one. Her gameplay focuses more on elemental reaction chains, more so than other DPS

Who to take (alternatives explained below!):

• Oz poops out electro procs like nobody’s business
• Electro-charged helps extend CC window, especially with Mona E
• Can substitute as a secondary DPS
• CAN REPLACE WITH BEIDOU OR LISA AS LISA’S Q WORKS AMAZING WITH MONA E + Q

• Sucrose E/Q groups enemies very easily
• #1 elemental mastery mule in the game, which is EXTREMELY important for Mona’s DPS output
• Viridescent Venerer set provides much needed elemental resistance debuff
• CAN REPLACE WITH ANEMO TRAVELER OR VENTI FOR EASIER AOE GROUPING

• Burst healing from Q is much appreciated + ATK buff slots great especially for Mona
• Pyro proc can either trigger vaporize or overloaded (you should 100% have an electro user)
• Bennett Q + Mona Q can hit some crazy high numbers (indicated here)
• CAN REPLACE WITH DIONA OR BARBARA FOR HYDRO RESONANCE (recommended Benny tho)

PSA #2: Don’t necessarily believe tier lists or naysayers about Mona DPS. It’s still extremely viable and people still run her Abyss 10+. Other characters work well with Mona as well, the key part is being aware of CD’s and capitalizing when you’re able to initiate elemental reaction chains

Great flex slot alternatives:

• Xingqiu – Double Hydro isn’t really great, but C2 Xingqiu reduces enemy Hydro Resistance by 15%, which is huge in the long run
• Lisa – Sub DPS Lisa is amazing to chain with Mona Q as well, but does require a bit more setup with stacking 3 E’s > Mona Q > Lisa E Hold
• Diona – Shields are great for Mona as she is quite squishy + Frozen is helpful for spacing with enemies like Mitachurls/Fatui Elites
• Ganyu – Burst DPS option that is great for additional AoE CC
• Beidou – Claymore is amazing for dealing with geo shields, but C2 Beidou’s Q also provides a really good shield for Mona + electro-charged
