Moshiri Kara Domain Guide

Moshiri Kara is a one-time domain that was added to Genshin Impact during the 2.2 update. Located near Tsurumi Island, there are certain challenges and quests the players must complete first in order to access the domain.

Quests

To reach the domain area, players must first finish the world quest A Particularly Particular Author. If you try to reach the island via waverider instead, your boat will get lost in the Sea of Fog. Then, you’ll be teleported back to Inazuma and all your efforts will be for nothing.

So, head on over to Sumeda and listen to her request.

Unlocking the Moshiri Kara domain

The first thing you have to do is use a waverider from Tsurumi Island and head towards the small island that has the Moshiri Kara domain. Once there, you’ll find several three locked Electro Totems. In front of the totems will be three Phase Gates, all of them pointed towards a different island near the domain.

You basically have to finish three challenges to unlock the totems. Once all three of them have been lit, the domain will appear. In the map below, you can see the locations of all three challenges. Now, keep in mind that there will be a lot of Hilichurl camps around the island. You don’t need to interact with them to unlock the domain. But you can fight them to get the Remarkable Chests for more Teapot furniture.

Challenges

Each island on the map will present you with a different kind of challenge. Before you start, it is recommended that you have at least one bow user in your team. Preferably someone like Kujou Sara or Fischl.

The challenges are as follows:

• Destroy 6 exploding barrels in 180 seconds
• Collect 9 Electro particles in 180 seconds
• Defeat 2 Thunderhelm Lawarchurls in 80 seconds.

Once all these challenges are completed, the totems will be unlocked and you can use an Electro character to light them up.

Defeating the Moshiri Kara domain

Within the Moshiri Kara domain, players will have to fight against 22 enemies in total. They will come in waves, ranging between Rifthounds and Hilichurls. Since Rifthounds cause corrosion, it is recommended that you bring a dedicated healer along with you like Qiqi or Barbara.

Once you clear the domain you will receive 40 Primogems, 5 Electro Sigils, 1 Shimenawa’s Reminiscence Flower, 2 Guide to Elegance, 3 Hero’s Wit, 5 Enhancement Ores and 30,000 Mora.
