Primogems Calculation for Version 3.3
I am here bringing the estimation for Primogems one can obtain in Genshin Impact version 3.3! The first thing you need to know is that the developer will be bringing back the usual 42 days per version instead of 35 days from version 3.0 – 3.2. In other words, version 3.3 will starts from December 7 to January 18.

How To Get 8800/13260 Primogems in Genshin Impact Version 3.3
From the infographic I added above, F2P players will get 8800 Primogems, 10 Acquaint Fates, and 5 Intertwined Fates. On the other hand, P2P players will get even more with the addition of Gnostic Hymn and Welkin, resulting in a total of 13260 Primogems, 10 Acquaint Fates, and 9 Intertwined Fates.
Now, you may wonder how I got to that calculation, so let’s get right into it.
Game Update Compensation
The update maintenance for version 3.3 will begin on December 7 at 06:00 AM (UTC+8) based on the previous maintenance update, and once the maintenance is complete, all players will get 600 Primogems from their in-game mail. You have lots of time to claim it because it will expire in 29 days.
Now for the usual stuff, since we will have 42 days in version 3.3, multiply that by 60 Primogems per day, and you will get a total of 2520 Primogems. Of course, that is if you manage to do all the commissions without skipping a day~
In every update, all players will get the Sojourner’s Battle Pass for free. By completing tasks in it and leveling up the BP Level, you can get 5 Acquaint Fates.
For version 3.3, I only include the Fates that you can buy from January because I’m pretty sure everyone will already buy the Fates during December before the update maintenance. In another word, you will get 5 Acquaint Fates and 5 Intertwined Fates from Paimon’s Bargain Shop.
Ah yes, the bane of our existence- the Spiral Abyss. Anyway, there will be 3 cycles in version 3.3, and if you manage to get full stars for all cycles, you can get a sweet 1800 Primogems (600 Primogems in a cycle).
One part of Archon Quest always provides 60 Primogems once we complete it, so that’s what you will get for version 3.3. You may be wondering if there will be a Story Quest for Wanderer since he is a new 5-character. I can only answer that I don’t know.
It is not mentioned in the live stream at all, but it’s normal to think that we will get it in version 3.3 as that’s the usual trend.
There is nothing new in version 3.3 in terms of gameplay except for Genius Invokation TCG, but I am sure we will get new achievements because there has never been a patch without new achievements. At most, you may get more or less 300 Primogems.
Yes, there are 5 new events in version 3.3, but Ley Line Overflow does not provide any Primogems. It will be better if I list them out:
- Akitsu Kimodameshi (Main Event) – 1000 Primogems
- Across the Wilderness (Side Event) – 420 Primogems
- Windtrace (Side Event) – 420 Primogems
- Misty Dungeon: Realm of Sand (Side Event) – 420 Primogems
- Ley Line Overflow – No Primogems
Genius Invokation TCG
TCG is the new permanent gameplay starting in version 3.3. As you can see in the image above, one level provides 60 Primogems. I estimate there to be at least 10 Levels considering there seems to be more number to the right of number 6, but I won’t overcount more than 10 because it is a new gameplay after all. It may be time-gated. In other words, you may get 600 Primogems by leveling up in the Genius Invokation TCG.
Character Test Runs
There are four 5-star characters in version 3.3, meaning there will be 4 character test runs that provide 20 Primogems per character. You will get a total of 80 Primogems by completing all test runs.
HoYoLAB Daily Check-In
There will be 4 times when you will get Primogems from the Daily Check-In, which are on December 11, December 18, January 4, and January 11 (If you check-in everyday without missing a day). In total, you will get 80 Primogems. I didn’t add December 18 because that is count toward version 3.4.
HoYoLAB Web Events
There will usually be 1-3 web events in the duration of one version of Genshin Impact. The thing is, it is mostly random and cannot be predicted. So, the only way you can notice these kinds of events is by keeping up with the Genshin Impact announcements or following me in HoYoLAB as I make sure to post the web event guide no matter how easy it is.
Long story short, you may get more or less 200 Primogems by playing any web events available whenever it’s released.
V3.4 Livestream Redeem Codes
As usual, there will be a Special Program 2 weeks before the update maintenance, and version 3.4 is not excluded from the trend. In the live stream, you will get 300 Primogems after claiming three new redemption codes.
Battle Pass (Gnostic Hymn)
Now this is the start of P2P territory. Sojourner’s Battle Pass is the free version that everyone will get, but Gnostic Hymn can only be obtained using real cash. In return, you will get an abundance of rewards such as 4 Intertwined Fates and 680 Primogems.
Blessing of the Welkin Moon
Last but not least, another P2P option is where you will get 90 Primogems daily for 30 days. If you continuously have the Welkin Moon for the entire version 3.3, you will get a total of 3780 Primogems (Not including the Genesis Crystal).
And with that, you can obtain the number of Primogems I calculate for Genshin Impact 3.3. Once again I want to stress that this calculation is merely an estimation of how many Primogems and Fates you will get in the next update. It is by no means official!
