Primogems Calculation for Version 3.4

I am here bringing the estimation for Primogems one can obtain in Genshin Impact version 3.4! The first thing you need to know is that the developer will be bringing back the usual 42 days per version instead of 35 days from version 3.0 – 3.2. In other words, version 3.4 will starts from January 18 to March 1.

How To Get 10100/14560 Primogems in Genshin Impact Version 3.4

From the infographic I added above, F2P players will get 10100 Primogems, 19 Acquaint Fates, and 25 Intertwined Fates. On the other hand, P2P players will get even more with the addition of Gnostic Hymn and Welkin, resulting in a total of 14560 Primogems, 19 Acquaint Fates, and 29 Intertwined Fates.
Now, you may wonder how I got to that calculation, so let’s get right into it.

Game Update Compensation

The update maintenance for version 3.4 will begin on January 18 at 06:00 AM (UTC+8) based on the previous maintenance update, and once the maintenance is complete, all players will get 600 Primogems from their in-game mail. You have lots of time to claim it because it will expire in 29 days.

Daily Commissions

Now for the usual stuff, since we will have 42 days in version 3.4, multiply that by 60 Primogems per day, and you will get a total of 2520 Primogems. Of course, that is if you manage to do all the commissions without skipping a day~

Battle Pass

In every update, all players will get the Sojourner’s Battle Pass for free. By completing tasks in it and leveling up the BP Level, you can get 5 Acquaint Fates.

Paimon’s Bargain

For version 3.4, I include the Fates you can buy from February and March because technically (in my timezone) 3.4 will stay until March 1, meaning the shop reset at 4 AM before the update maintenance that starts at 6 AM. In other words, you will get 10 Acquaint Fates and 10 Intertwined Fates from Paimon’s Bargain Shop.

Spiral Abyss

Ah yes, the bane of our existence- the Spiral Abyss. Anyway, there will be 3 cycles in version 3.4, and if you manage to get full stars for all cycles, you can get a sweet 1800 Primogems (600 Primogems in a cycle).
1st cycle- February 1
2nd cycle- February 16
3rd cycle- March 1

Story Quest

There is no new Archon Quest, but we will get a Story Quest for Alhaitham. By completing the quest, you will get 60 Primogems.

New Area

The new area is called the Desert of Hadramaveth. By new area, I mean all the waypoints and Statue of the Seven you can unlock, puzzles and treasure chests, and new world quests. By completing all of these, you may get around 2000 Primogems or even more.

New Achievements

With the addition of a new area, there will also be lots of new hidden achievements you can unlock. But it’s called hidden achievement for a reason, so once you manage to get all of it, you may gain around 200 Primogems or even more.

New Events

There are 4 new events in version 3.4, totaling up to 2260 Primogems. Here’s how you get that number:
1. The Exquisite Night Chimes: ~1000 Primogems
2 . Warrior’s Spirit: 420 Primogems
3. Second Blooming: 420 Primogems
4. Almighty Arataki Extraordinary and Exhilarating Extreme Beetle Brawl: 420 Primogems

May Fortune Find You

May Fortune Find You is a cumulative login event under the Lantern Rite festival. Log in to Genshin Impact for a few days during the event and you will get 10 Intertwined Fates.

Lantern Rite In-Game Mail

This one is probably missed by lots of people but the developer team did mention in the live stream that they will be using in-game mail to send 3 Intertwined Fates as a thank-you for your support over the past year.

Character Test Runs

There are four 5-star characters in version 3.4, meaning there will be 4 character test runs that provide 20 Primogems per character. You will get a total of 80 Primogems by completing all test runs.

Tree Of Dreams

Since we will get a new area, there is an extremely high possibility that Tree of Dreams’ Vanarana’s Favor will also be unlocked. For version 3.4, you may get rewards from levels 31-40, giving you 4 Acquaint Fates and 2 Intertwined Fates.

HoYoLAB Daily Check-In

There will be 4 times when you will get Primogems from the Daily Check-In, which are on January 18, February 4, February 11, and February 18 (If you check-in everyday without missing a day). In total, you will get 80 Primogems.

HoYoLAB Web Events

There will usually be 1-3 web events in the duration of one version of Genshin Impact. The thing is, it is mostly random and cannot be predicted. So, the only way you can notice these kinds of events is by keeping up with the Genshin Impact announcements or following me in HoYoLAB as I make sure to post the web event guide no matter how easy it is.
Long story short, you may get more or less 200 Primogems by playing any web events available whenever it’s released.

V3.5 Livestream Redeem Codes

As usual, there will be a Special Program 2 weeks before the update maintenance, and version 3.5 is not excluded from the trend. In the live stream, you will get 300 Primogems after claiming three new redemption codes.

Battle Pass (Gnostic Hymn)

Now this is the start of P2P territory. Sojourner’s Battle Pass is the free version that everyone will get, but Gnostic Hymn can only be obtained using real cash. In return, you will get an abundance of rewards such as 4 Intertwined Fates and 680 Primogems.

Blessing of The Welkin Moon

Last but not least, another P2P option is where you will get 90 Primogems daily for 30 days. If you continuously have the Welkin Moon for the entire version 3.4, you will get a total of 3780 Primogems (Not including the Genesis Crystal).
