I am here bringing the estimation for Primogems one can obtain in Genshin Impact version 3.6! The first thing you need to know is that version 3.6 will have a duration of 42 days, starting from April 12 to May 24. Remember that this is speculation based on the previous versions’ events and gameplay, and by no means official!

How to Get 10490/14950 Primogems in Genshin Impact Version 3.6
From the infographic I created above, F2P players will get 10490 Primogems, 20 Acquaint Fates, and 7 Intertwined Fates. On the other hand, P2P players will get even more with the addition of Gnostic Hymn and Welkin, resulting in a total of 14950 Primogems, 20 Acquaint Fates, and 11 Intertwined Fates.
Game Update Compensation
The update maintenance for version 3.6 will begin on April 12 at 06:00 AM (UTC+8) based on the previous maintenance update, and once the maintenance is complete, all players will get 600 Primogems from their in-game mail. You have lots of time to claim it because it will expire in 29 days.
Now for the usual stuff, since we will have 42 days in version 3.5, multiply that by 60 Primogems per day, and you will get a total of 2520 Primogems. Of course, that is if you manage to do all the commissions without skipping a day~
For Paimon’s Bargain, I include the Fates you can buy only in May because the April one is already available now (making it version 3.5 properties), so you can get 5 Acquaint Fates and 5 Intertwined Fates from Paimon’s Bargain Shop.
Ah yes, the bane of our existence- the Spiral Abyss. There will be 3 cycles in version 3.6. If you manage to get full stars for all cycles, you can get 1800 Primogems (600 Primogems in a cycle).
✦ 1st cycle – April 16
✦ 2nd cycle – May 1
✦ 3rd cycle – May 16
There are 2 types of Battle Pass here: Sojourner’s Battle Pass (Free) and Gnostic Hymn (Paid). Obviously, both give different rewards.
✦ Sojourner’s Battle Pass – 5 Acquaint Fates
✦ Gnostic Hymn – 4 Intertwined Fates & 680 Primogems
Blessing of the Welkin Moon
Another P2P option is where you will get 90 Primogems daily for 30 days. If you continuously have the Welkin Moon for the entire version 3.6, you will get a total of 3780 Primogems (Not including the Genesis Crystal).
Character Test Runs
There are 4 5-star characters in version 3.6, meaning there will be 4 character test runs that provide 20 Primogems per character. You will get a total of 80 Primogems by completing all test runs.
There are 5 new events in version 3.6, totaling up to 2260 Primogems. Here’s how you get that number:
1. A Parade of Providence: ~1000 Primogems
2. Brewing Developments: 420 Primogems
3. Fulminating Sandstorm: 420 Primogems
4. The Recollector’s Path: 420 Primogems
5. Overflowing Mastery: 0 Primogems
Baizhu Story Quest
A new Story Quest featuring Baizhu will be available permanently after version 3.6, and by completing the quest, you will get 60 Primogems.
Nahida Story Quest
A new Story Quest featuring Nahida will be available permanently after version 3.6, and by completing the quest, you will get 60 Primogems.
Layla Hangout Event
Like the usual Hangout Event, you will get 60 Primogems by unlocking all endings for that certain character. In addition, there will be 3 achievements in each character’s Hangout Event, giving you another 30 Primogems.
There is a new area in version 3.6, so I am certain there will be new achievements (but not how many new achievements you can get). Give or take, you might get more or less 300 Primogems.
Here is the new area called ‘Girdle of the Sands.’ It is unknown how big the area is, how many chests there are, puzzles, etc, so it’s extremely subjective on how many Primogems you can get. Combining-
1. Waypoints Unlock
2. Treasure Chests
3. World Quests
4. Statue of the Seven Unlock & Level Up
5. Domain Unlock
– You may get more or less 2100 Primogems.
HoYoLAB Daily Check-In
There will be 4 times when you will get Primogems from the Daily Check-In, which are on April 18, May 4, May 11, and May 18 (If you check-in everyday without missing a day). In total, you will get 80 Primogems.
HoYoLAB Web Events
There will usually be 1-3 web events in the duration of one version of Genshin Impact. The thing is, it is mostly random and cannot be predicted. So, the only way you can notice these kinds of events is by keeping up with the Genshin Impact announcements or following me in HoYoLAB as I make sure to post the web event guide no matter how easy it is.
Long story short, you may get more or less 200 Primogems by playing any web events available whenever it’s released.
V3.7 Livestream Redeem Codes
As usual, there will be a Special Program 2 weeks before the update maintenance, and version 3.7 is not excluded from the trend. In the live stream, you will get 300 Primogems after claiming three new redemption codes.
When invited to the Serenitea Pot, the characters will have some special dialogue and give rewards at the end of the dialogue if it is the first time they interact with that set. The rewards consist of 20 Primogems per person. Since there are 2 new characters (Baizhu & Kaveh), you will get 40 Primogems. Remember that this is optional because you may or may not wish for Baizhu and Kaveh (That’s why it is highlighted in yellow color in the infographic).
This is another optional since it also includes the new characters. If you get Baizhu and Kaveh (the new characters in version 3.6), you can get 3 Acquaint Fates per character once you ascend them past level 80. In total, you get 6 Acquaint Fates.
And with that, you can obtain the number of Primogems I calculate for Genshin Impact 3.6. Once again I want to stress that this calculation is merely an estimation of how many Primogems and Fates you will get in the next update. It is by no means official!
