Qiqi Quick TL;DR Healer and Support Build Guide

UPDATED FOR 1.5 😁!

PSA #1: Healers are the white mages of the group, and you NEVER f**k with the white mage (cause they decide whether or not you get up from that charging Stonehide Lawachurl)

PSA #2: Both Qiqi’s abilities scale with ATK. She may be tiny but she’s 100% pent up rage; she’s probably angry cocogoats aren’t real. Elsa ain’t got nothing on Qiqi

She throws ice that does cryo damage to nearby enemies and summons a ghost that continues to throw ice. Attack while this is up to heal teammates. STAYS WHEN YOU SWAP CHARACTERS

Two stages to this healing:
1) Hitting enemies while E is up will heal based off Qiqi’s ATK
2) It will provide healing overtime, whether or not you’re hitting enemies, based on a tick

Two words: FLEX SEAL

This is why most of the time Qiqi’s healing feels much more effective than usual. Incoming Healing Bonus% is a rare buff that’s extremely beneficial for overall healing output

Qiqi explodes applying cryo to enemies nearby and marks enemies. Teammates who attack marked enemies heal

IMPORTANT TIP: The healing on-hit is based off Qiqi’s ATK, not the current character’s

Basically, sometimes you don’t even have to ult sometimes to heal teammates. Just go slap someone

Talent Leveling Order: E > Q > Normal

WEAPON #1 (Recommended for that IcyHot relief): Sacrificial Sword

How do I get it D: ? – It’s time to roll boys (gacha)

Has base Energy Recharge scaling and essential for making Qiqi’s long E CD tolerable

PSA #3: Sacrificial Sword can make Qiqi’s long CD extremely tolerable (not that it’s that bad). If you have R2+ Sacrifical Sword, take it

Favonius Sword is also a great alternative, which helps tolerate Qiqi’s 80 cost Q. If you have Festering Desire from the event, and have no one using it, it’s also alright for the energy recharge — still highly recommended to use Sacrificial or Favonius though

WEAPON #2 (Recommended for early healing): Skyrider Sword

How do I get it D: ? – You get one from Pan Guan’er, but the rest gacha

Has base Energy Recharge scaling and increases ATK for when healing with Qiqi

Technically, you can run Prototype Rancour if you don’t have any other sword, but you’ll begin to notice the lack of energy recharge (as other than her E, her Q is the only other heal

ARTIFACT #1 (Recommended for focus healing): Maiden Beloved

How do I get it D: ? – Valley of Remembrance Domain (AR 30 locked, 20 Resin per run)

At this point just chuck medkits at people

If your team has a shield comp, 4-set Millelith will do much better, as the additional ATK and shield strength far outweighs the little bonus of healing 4-set Maiden provides to Qiqi’s already ridiculous healing

You can technically run 4-set Noblesse if you don’t have anyone else running it, but for maximizing quick heals Maiden is recommended

ARTIFACT #2 (Recommended for early energy): The Exile

How do I get it D: ? – Confront Stormterror Domain (60 Resin per run) or steal some chests

Qiqi’s Q is 80 energy… Definitely going to help A LOT

Substats: CRIT% > CRIT DMG > ATK (ATK% if not main stat) > ER/EM

If you want other characters let me know. Hope this helped. Bye.

I spend too much time filling out spreadsheets for incoherent data, but at least I can turn them into guides :P

    • Kind of hard to say, as both excel in their own right. Jean for sure has higher instant healing due to her Q, as well as doesn’t have her passive healing locked behind her abilities (since all she has to do is Normal Attack a few times). Plus, Jean has a much higher DPS potential.

However, Qiqi’s Q and A4 passive make it so allies can heal themselves on marked enemies. Not to mention she can fit well in melt/freeze comps since her Cryo application isn’t all too bad + she doesn’t self-proc Cryo on herself like Barbara does with her E. Only big con about Qiqi is her E CD, but otherwise she’s a solid healer. If you have both, it just means you can run them in either of your 2 teams for Abyss, so it’s a win-win!

    • Uhh it’s a bit iffy last time I checked. The set definitely works, but her E is on such a long CD/doesn’t heal as often to really maximize. If her ult can be used a lot for the burst healing, then it’s good, but otherwise you’re better off running Maiden or Millelith.

  1. Looking forward to the Ocean Clam update.
From what I hear, it still doesn’t make her a meta character but my god, I started a new account with her and early game, the flat healing-scaled bonus damage kills everything so hard.

    • Yeah Qiqi does get meme’d on pretty hard, but overall she’s still a great healer. As for her guide update, I’ll most likely update all the older characters around 2.5 just in case there are new artifacts being released.

  2. If i plan to use Militeth on my ZL, since it doesn’t stack, should i remove militeth that’s currently on my Qiqi for Maiden?
