Seirai’s Reminiscence: All 4 Photo Locations
Seirai’s Reminiscense takes us all around the dangerous parts of Seirai Island we would otherwise try and avoid. But it offers an achievement, primos and mora so who are we to refuse? There are four photographs to take after triggering the quest.
These are their locations:
Managing to get the photos are the tricky part.
First, to activate the quest, run either North or South of the two Teleport Waypoints below:
Dig at the small shrine.
You’ll find a picture with strange markings.
Paimon suggests asking around Inazuma City about it. Navigate to the city and find Furuya Noboru. He directs you to Oda Tarou, someone whose ancestor’s once lived on Serai Island. If you completed the quest, Serai’s Relics, beforehand you’ll have an idea of who he is.
Oda, missing home, gives you four locations to take photos of. Equip whichever Kamera you’d like and head to the island to begin.
Go To Seirai Island And Take Pictures
The first location is on the same island as the shrine you triggered the quest with.
Go the Southern Teleport Waypoint on top of the cliff. Run to the side of the hill until the Statue of Seven glowing blue or red is in your sight. Take the picture. If it doesn’t accept it, try different placements on the cliff edge at this same location until it does. Sometimes it acts up.
The second location overlooks Asase Shrine.
Head Southwest from Koseki Village or the Statue of Seven. Stay on the high ground and go to the edge of the cliff. Something that helps with knowing if you’re in the right spot is by looking at the gate to the right. If it’s in your picture at that placement, chances are the picture will be accepted and you can move on.
The third location is by the Seiraimaru Ship.
This picture is actually a horrible reference and you’ll run around for ages trying to match the spot. There are also many enemies here that can make this a frustrating experience, coupled with the thunder and lightning raining from the sky. However, all you need is a quick snap of your Kamera and you can flee.
To make things simple: stand right in front the boat on the tiny island across from it.
If there are hilichurls attacking you, you’re in the place you need to be. Do note, the ship also offers an achievement and many chests if you explore it, so take the time whenever you’re free to check the guide on the Seiraimaru Ship.
Finally, the fourth location– and most dangerous.
If Seirai Stormchasers hasn’t been completed, Amakumo Peak will be flooded in potent lightning. Move quickly to the entrance of the mountain and water and take your shot.
If you’re having trouble with this particular spot, try angling yourself beneath the stone in the picture above. And remember- you’re not on an island in the water for the picture- but on the low-ground coast between two bushes.
Return to Oda Tarou
Photos taken, travel to Inazuma City once more and talk to Oda.
He’ll mention his ancestors and Fujiwara Toshiko from Seirai Relics and share some small history on the island and Narakumi. Afterwards, you get his thanks and some nice rewards, including the achievement: On The Other Side Of Homesickness.
This is an Inazuma Reputation Rank quest as well.
