Cryo Abyss MageHydro Abyss Mage (hydro aura)

Tips/Advice:

  • Hydro Abyss Mage has aura that will pulse (roughly) every 15-16 seconds, applying wet to you if within the aura (indicated by large blue circle)
  • Kill the Cryo Abyss Mage first, as the hydro aura is only dangerous in tandem to cryo procs, causing frozen on yourself
  • Hydro Abyss Mage has a bubble ability that follows you. If hit, you will take massive damage and have to spam to escape. Can be dodged by doing a sharp dash turn in any angle just before it hits you

Pyro Abyss Mage (pyro aura)Pyro Abyss Mage

Tips/Advice:

  • One of the Pyro Abyss Mages has aura that summons a pyro ball (roughly) every 19-20 seconds. Pyro ball follows you around, and once it reaches you will explode 3 times. Follows you around once more after explosion and explodes another 3 times when it reaches you
  • Highly recommended to kill the Pyro Abyss Mage with aura, as it can 1) drain a lot of stamina trying to dodge, and 2) does a ton of damage if ignored

Tips/Advice:

  • A cryo obelisk will be stationed on the northern half of the arena. Every 15 seconds, it will apply cryo to enemies and buffs them (hinted by cryo sheen + buff animation)
  • If you want to utilize this for free melt/superconduct procs, recommended to fight around northern half of arena. If you don’t, then simply coral them to the southern half
  • Shooting Ruin Guard with an aimed shot in the eye or core on the back will stun it. Shoot it one more time to open a window to burst it quickly
  • Ruin Guard’s missile attack can be easily avoided with a sharp dash left or right just before they lock onto you

General Tips

  • Your typical Cryo/Pyro Regisvine fight
  • Both will always start the fight with their exposed gem near the root facing towards you. Make sure to pop it to open a window to burst it
  • Once the first exposed gem at the root is destroyed, the next spawns on their neck/head (you will receive a notice saying “the corolla is forming…” when it occurs)
  • To break it, you can wait for Regisvine to do it’s faceplant attack then attack it’s neck/head. It has 2 variations:
    • 1) a single faceplant that will stay there for a bit
    • 2) a triple combo faceplant, that will stay there after the third smash
  • If the fight goes on too long, Regisivine will swap to it’s outer phase, in which it will coat the entire outer ring of the arena in a cryo/pyro attack — stepping on this do massive damage over time

I spend too much time filling out spreadsheets for incoherent data, but at least I can turn them into guides :P
