Sumeru Forgeable Weapons

Genshin Impact's Sumeru region offer Travelers brand new 4-star weapons to forge - here is how to unlock them.

Every nation in Genshin Impact’s Teyvat offers brand new forgeable weapons to welcome eager Travelers in their arduous journey.

Known as the land of wisdom, Sumeru is the fourth nation introduced in the game. Similar to last year’s Inazuma release, the new 4-star weapons and their blueprints are not available at the ready, but rather are obtainable via challenging means – a series of world quests.

Now, the world quest chain in question is called Aranyaka, and it is a lengthy one which contains four parts. Here, the traveler and Paimon meet an Aranara, and will embark on a journey with them throughout Sumeru.

How to Unlock Sumeru Forgeable Weapons

That being said, to be able to unlock the new forgeable weapons, keep in mind that you will have to do the Aranyaka world quest up until its Part III. Only after this that an NPC named Aravinay will show up near the Tree of Dreams, located in the Varanara area of Sumeru.

Head to the Silapna and play the rhythm using the Vintage Lyre to enter the Dream Varanara. Then, head to where the Tree of Dreams is located, Aravinay should be there and you have to speak to him. There are 5 new forgeable weapons, which means you’ll also be needing 5 “Stories of You and the Aranara” in exchange.

Additionally, you’ll be rewarded the “The Tale of the Forest” achievement once you’ve exchanged all “Stories of You and the Aranara” to Aravinay and obtain all blueprints.

Where to Get “Stories of You and the Aranara”

Stories of You and the Aranara” is a form of currency that can be exchanged for blueprints of the new forgeable weapons set. They can be obtained through various world quests – 2 from the Aranyaka World Quest series, and 3 from the Varuna Gatha, Agnihotra Sutra, and Vimana Agama World Quest series.

  1. Aranyaka Part 2: The World of Aranara
  2. Varuna Gatha: A Prayer for Rain in the Fecund Land
  3. Agnihotra Sutra: The Final Chapter
  4. Vimana Agama: Dev Delver Chapter
  5. Aranyaka Part 3: “Hello,” “Thank You,” and the Final “Goodbye”

It’s important to take note that in order for you to craft these weapons, instead of the usual Northlander Billet, this time you’ll be needing a Midlander Billet of the weapon type.
