Summer Night Memories Web Event

With Yoimiya’s character banner right around the corner, Genshin Impact has released a new web event: Summer Night Memories. Just like previous events, players can earn in-game rewards by performing simple tasks.

Event Duration

This web event will run from August 5th, 2021 till August 11th, 2021. Players will receive their rewards via the in-game mail. They will have 30 days to open the mail and claim them, after which, the rewards will expire.

Event Gameplay

Anyone who is at Adventure Rank 10 or above can participate in this event. Just click on the event link to access it.

As the web page loads, someone will inform the traveler that another festival is going to take place in Inazuma. This means food stalls, activities and fireworks. To capture all these moments, you’ll be asked to use your Kamera to take pictures.

After this, the home screen will load and you’ll have the option to either play the event or watch Yoimiya’s character teaser.

Click on ‘play event’ and you can begin.

When the screen loads, you’ll find yourself before a path with different shops on either side. Your objective is to interact with these shops, take pictures and share them on any social media platform to earn rewards. You can take a picture of three locations in total: Street Food Stall, Prayer Rack and the Torii Gate.

Unfortunately, you can’t take pictures as you want. They have to be in a certain order to unlock the next location.

Street Food Stall

The first location is the Street Food Stall. Apart from click on the stall, there isn’t much you have to do. The Kamera’s angle will be adjusted for you and all you have to do is take the picture.

Once you’ve done that, you’ll have to pick where you want to share the picture. If you don’t actually want to share it, you can just choose the ‘Copy Link’ option and viola! You’re done. With this, you’ll get your first reward: 10 Primogems, 1 Agnidus Agate Fragment and 5000 Mora.

The second location, the Prayer Rack, will unlock only after you’ve finished this part.

Prayer Rack

To take pictures, you require film and to obtain that, you’ll have to quest certain tasks.

For the Prayer Rack, you’ll have to follow the link to Mihoyo’s official Youtube account. There isn’t a video or anything that you have to watch so the quest is pretty straightforward. Just let the Youtube account load and you’ll have your film

With the newly acquired film, take a picture of the Prayer Rack and earn your reward: 10 Primogems, 1 Agnidus Agate Fragment and 5000 Mora.

Torii Gate

The Torii Gate is the last location for the event. To get a new film, you’ll have to visit the HoYoLab Homepage. Once that is done, you’ll have your film but when you take a picture, it will be of Yoimiya and not the gate itself.

For this stage, you’ll earn 20 Primogems, 1 Agnidus Agate Fragment and 10000 Mora.

Finally, the traveller will join Yoimiya and the two of them will watch fireworks together. With that, you’ll have finished the web event, earning yourself 40 Primogems in total. While it may not seem like a lot, for doing simple tasks like clicking buttons, it’s enough and hey, when you’re saving for characters, every Primo counts.
