They Who Hear the Sea World Quest Guide

The Midsummer Island Adventure brings a lot of long quests and fun events. Most of all, it brings its own lore in the Echoing Conches portion of the new area for the Echoing Tales event. This guide will help you complete one of the Limited World Quests for the Golden Apple Archipelago: “They Who Hear the Sea”.

In order to find all the Echoing Conches you need to complete the “Summer Vacation: Proceed with Caution” quest.

First head to Twinning Isle either by waypoint or on your ship since that’s where this quest takes place.

Here are the locations on the Echoing Conches needed for this quest:

The numbered star pins are the Echoing Conches related to this quest. The exclamation pins are Echoing Conches from other tales/quests.

  1. On a lump of rocks on the ground.
  2. On the side of the isle next to the harpastem challenge.
  3. Next to the pile of wood and a hilichurl tower on top of the isle.
  4. Underneath the tree below the waypoint near a broken vase and a bucket.
  5. Next to the shattered vase and a bucket on the side of the isle just glide over from the waypoint.

In order to unlock the quest you have to collect the fifth conch of the first tale “Songs of a Distant Home” then it will direct you to the center of the area. The location to the center of the area is circled above. You will have to fight off a digging hilichurl to dig up the chest.

Now to get the combination to unlock the treasure chest go to the Echoing Tales Conch Retrospection. If you’ve collected all the Echoing Conches around the Twinning Isle then you should have the first tale completed:

After that select the options in the order of the numbers above to unlock the luxurious chest.

Rewards for completing the quest:

  • 350 Adventure Rank EXP
  • 40 Primogems
