Before the Quest
For this quest, to unlock waypoints and other quest related mechanisms, your Bokuso Box needs to be at level 11. However, since the intensity of corrosion is higher on the last island, we recommend that your level your Bokuso Box to at least level 12-13. This way, you won’t be affected by the corrosion and can move around the island easily.
To level up your Bokuso Box, you’ll need Light Realm sigils. These can be obtained by exploring other parts of Enkanomiya, solving puzzles and participating in challenges.
You’ll also need to collect a good amount of Aphotium Ore and Tokoyo Legumes.
Using the Ghostfish Pool, head over to the island where the third tower is. When you get there, much like quests before, you’ll need to follow a Seelie to the location.
On your way, however, you’ll find enemies such as:
- 2 x Ruin Sentinels
- 1 x Ruin Guard
You have the choice to fight them. However, if you don’t want, you can shield up or sprint past them to continue on your journey. However, much like before, when you reach the Shadowy Husks, you have to fight them. In the chest that they are guarding, you’ll find Husk Gems which you need to unlock the tower controllers. You’ll be facing a Stander Bearer and a Defender. Defeating them should be easy as long as you remember to use the Bokuso Box.
Once you have the Husk Gems, continue after the Seelie until you reach the tower controllers. To unlock them, you’ll need the following items:
- 12 x Aphotium Ore
- 12 x Tokoyo Legume
- 10 x Husk Gem
After that, you have to assemble the tower based on the clue. Your finally assembly should look like the image below.
For the final step, climb to the top of the tower and activate the Light chisel with your Bokuso Box.
Once you’re done, go back to the Dainichi Mikoshi and talk to Tsumi. She will tell you that while your efforts helped Enkanomiya, there’s a strange darkness brewing in the Dainichi Mikoshi. To stop it, she sends you to find Enjou aka the Pyro Lector.
The game will navigate you to him, however, when you see him, he’ll tell you that Tsumi isn’t your friend but your enemy. She is a shape-shifting Vishap who took a human form so as to destroy the Dainichi Mikoshi and release the Vishaps trapped underneath it. Of course, you’ll have to fight him here once before he tells you about a device that will help you against Tsumi.
For this, you’ll have to skip through some floating platforms and use your Bokuso box on the activators. When they’re done, head back to the Dainichi Mikoshi and down the Vishap level where you’ll have to fight the herd Vishaps, but in their elite form.
After you defeat them, Tsumi will approach you but she won’t be able to destroy the Dainichi Mikoshi. When she’s gone, go back to Watatsumi Island and talk to Kokomi. She’ll tell you that there is no such thing as shape-shifting Vishaps. Tsumi is actually the last vassal of the serpent-god Oborashi and had disappeared when she was a child. Apparently, her caretaker and Tsumi were attacked by Vishaps and presumed dead. It seems that she was alive all along and grew up believing she was one of the Vishaps.
But nevertheless, the crisis in Enkanomiya has been averted and Watatsumi has been saved, all thanks to you.
