Valberry location guide

Valberry is a Mondstadt local speciality and can be used to ascend certain characters. Finding these plants, however, can be a little difficult since they only grow in the Stormbearer area. Most of all, you’ll only find one plant in one area, making the search even harder.

With this guide, we’ll cover all the locations where Valberries grow as well as the challenges you may face.

Description

A plump and translucent berry that has a fragrant smell and a sweet, refreshing taste. In the past, the storm watchers’ only solace was the sweetness of this fruit and hope for the city’s peace.

Locations

There are two places where you can find the Valberry plant: Stormbearer Mountains and Stormbearer Point. While there are only a few plants available, each one of them grows up to four berries. This way, by the time you’re done, you should have a decent stock of Valberry at hand.

To start your search, teleport to Starfell Lake and then make your way to the edge of the Stormbearer Mountains. From there, make your way upwards to the mountains and collect all the available berries along the way.

Most of the Valberry plants grow among trees and so can be a bit hard to notice. Follow all the marked locations on the map and keep your eye out for anything shiny. Unlike most plants, Valberries have their distinct glow since all four berries shine simultaneously.

Lastly, a lot of the Valberry plants grow near Hilichurl camps and as you go to a plant, you’re bound to be noticed. Make sure you start your search with your main DPS team or one that can help you sprint away as fast as possible.

NPCs

As of now, Chloris is the only NPC in the game that can give you Valberries. You’ll find her wandering about in the Windrise area of Mondstadt, close to the Thousand Winds Temple. From her shop, you can buy up to five Valberries for around 1000 Mora each. This is not a one time purchase and you can purchase more berries after her shop resets.

Alternative Method

With the implementation of the gardening system in the teapot, you can now grow a Valberry plant. Seeds can either be purchased from Tubby or obtained through the Seed Dispensary. Just make sure that you have the Dispensary equipped as you search for Valberry plants. For every plant you pick, you’ll get a bag of seeds.

The Valberry plant will take up to 2 days and 22 hours to grow.
