Version 3.6 “A Parade of Providence” New Artifact Overview

Alongside a new 5-star weapon, 2 sets of new artifacts will also appear in Genshin Impact version 3.6! The developers have recently released the overview of both sets and where to obtain it.

A new area called Girdle of the Sands will be available in Genshin Impact after the version 3.6 update on April 12. With that said, two new artifact sets will be available to farm after unlocking a new artifact domain in the new desert area!

Nymph’s Dream Artifact Set

2-Piece: Hydro DMG bonus +15%.
4-Piece: After Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attacks, Elemental Skills, and Elemental Bursts hit opponents, 1 stack of Mirrored Nymph will be triggered, lasting 8 seconds. When under the effect of 1, 2, or 3 or more Mirrored Nymph Stacks, ATK will be increased by 7%/16%/25%, and Hydro DMG bonus will be increased by 4%/9%/15%. Mirrored Nymph stacks created by Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attacks, Elemental Skills, and Elemental Bursts exist independently.

Suitable Character for Nymph’s Dream Artifacts

You know this set is specifically for Hydro characters (especially DPS) after reading a whole lot of Hydro DMG bonuses from the 2-piece and 4-piece effects. Two such characters are:
1. Kamisato Ayato
2. Tartaglia

Aside from the Hydro DMG Bonus from the 2-piece bonus, Ayato can also take advantage of the Mirrored Nymph from the 4-piece set. This is because his main damage output comes from his Elemental Skill and Normal Attack, making it easier for Ayato to trigger Mirrored Nymph. His Elemental Burst also has a large AoE and has lots of opportunities to hit enemies and keep the stacks up. You only need three stacks to get the max number of buffs, and this can be done easily by triggering his Elemental Burst > Elemental Skill, then rapid attacks from said Skill.

Similar to Ayato, Tartaglia can also trigger the 4-piece effect easily with his Elemental Skill and Normal Attacks. However, since his Elemental Burst is a one-shot attack, don’t forget to stack up the Mirrored Nymph first before triggering the Burst for maximum damage.

Vourukasha’s Glow Artifact Set

2-Piece: HP +20%.
4-Piece: Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst DMG will be increased by 10%. After the equipping character takes DMG, the aforementioned DMG Bonus is increased by 80% for 5 seconds. This effect increase can have 5 stacks. The duration of each stack is counted independently. These effects can be triggered even when the equipping character is not on the field.

Suitable Character for Vourukasha’s Glow Artifacts

There are quite a few characters that can take advantage of this artifact set, namely:
1. Dehya
2. Nilou
3. Yelan
4. Xingqiu

5. Sangonomiya Kokomi

Dehya is the best character to equip the Vourukasha’s Glow artifacts. Both her Elemental Skill and Burst can take advantage of the 2-piece HP bonus. In addition, since the effect from the 4-piece bonus can still be triggered when the host is not on the field, Dehya can still accumulate the aforementioned DMG Bonus even when she is switched out and further increase the damage of her Skill (Remember that Dehya will take a portion of the damage that active characters within the Molten Inferno receive, thus triggering the 4-piece buff).

Nilou’s not here for the 4-piece bonus, but instead for the 2-piece HP bonus. She is a well-known character in the Bloom team, with her ability to create Bountiful Core that burst faster and has a larger AoE than a normal Dendro Core. In short, the higher HP Nilou has, the more damage can be dealt by the Bountiful Core, all this from her passive skill ‘Dreams Dance of Aeons.’

Yelan and Xingqiu will be grouped together here because of the similarity of their kit. Yelan benefits more than Xingqiu in term of using the Vourukasha’s Glow artifact since her Burst’s damage are based on her own max HP (unlike Xingqiu who has a static number). However, both of them can take advantage of the 4-piece effect that can increase their Skill and Burst’s damage output. But is it worth more than other artifacts like Emblem of Severed Fate? We can only know after this set is out and theory crafters test it out~

The last character is Sangonomiya Kokomi, and she is another character that can greatly benefit from the HP bonus from the 2-piece effect as almost all of her kits are based on max HP. The 4-piece bonus may also benefit her since you must use her on the field once activating her Burst to take advantage of her Ceremonial Garment state (thus taking more damage from enemies and further increasing her Burst damage, just like Dehya).
