Statistics:

Dashes nimbly forward with silken steps. Once this dash ends, Chiori will summon the automaton doll “Sode” beside her and sweep her blade upward, dealing AoE Geo DMG to nearby opponents based on her ATK and DEF. Holding the Skill will cause it to behave differently.

Hold
Enter Aiming Mode to adjust the dash direction.

Sode

  • Will slash at nearby opponents at intervals, dealing AoE Geo DMG based on Chiori’s ATK and DEF.
  • While active, if there are nearby Geo Construct(s) or Geo Construct(s) are created nearby, an additional Sode will be summoned next to your active character. Only 1 additional Sode can be summoned in this manner, and its duration is independently counted.

Statistics:

Twin blades leave their sheaths as Chiori slices with the clean cuts of a master tailor, dealing AoE Geo DMG based on her ATK and DEF.

Suggested Talent Levels
This is by no means an exact guide on what is best – this is just my personal suggestion.

Gain different effects depending on the next action you take within a short duration after using Fluttering Hasode’s upward sweep. If you Press the Elemental Skill, you will trigger the Tapestry effect. If you Press your Normal Attack, the Tailoring effect will be triggered instead.

Tapestry

  • Switches to the next character in your roster.
  • Grants all your party members “Seize the Moment”: When your active party member’s Normal Attacks, Charged Attacks, and Plunging Attacks hit an opponent, “Sode” will execute a coordinated attack, dealing 100% of Fluttering Hasode’s upward sweep DMG as AoE Geo DMG at the opponent’s location. DMG dealt this way is considered Elemental Skill DMG.
  • “Seize the Moment” lasts 8s, and 1 of “Sode”‘s coordinated attack can be unleashed every 2s. 2 such coordinated attacks can occur per “Seize the Moment” effect duration.

Tailoring

  • Chiori gains Geo infusion for 5s.

When on the field, if Chiori does not either Press her Elemental Skill or use a Normal Attack within a short time after using Fluttering Hasode’s upward sweep, the Tailoring effect will be triggered by default.

When a nearby party member creates a Geo Construct, Chiori will gain 20% Geo DMG Bonus for 20s.

When any party member is wearing an outfit apart from their default outfit, or is wearing a wind glider other than the Wings of First Flight, your party members will obtain the Swift Stride effect: Movement SPD is increased by 10%.

Cisoria
C6

C1 allows Chiori to use her full mechanics without needing to be paired with another Geo character who can create a Geo construct. Seeing as Chiori is really only used with other Geo characters, most of which make their own Geo constructs, this is not particularly useful unless you want to pair her with Navia.

C2 creates an extra attack after Chiori uses her Elemental Burst. It is not particularly powerful and is not really worth pulling a whole constellation for.

This increases the level to which Chiori’s Elemental Skill can be increased.

C4 allows Chiori to summon Kinu up to three times every fifteen seconds. This lets her trigger more crystallise reactions. Again, this is not particularly powerful and is not worth pulling a whole constellation for.

This increases the level to which Chiori’s Elemental Burst can be increased.

C6 unlocks Chiori’s abilities as a Main DPS character. It buffs her Normal Attacks by scaling their damage off her DEF.

2-Piece: DEF +30%.

4-Piece: A character equipped with this artifact set will obtain the Curiosity effect in the following conditions: When on the field, the character gains 1 stack after hitting an opponent with a Geo attack, triggering a maximum of once every 0.3s. When off the field, the character gains 1 stack every 3s. Curiosity can stack up to 4 times, each providing 6% DEF and a 6% Geo DMG Bonus. When 6 seconds pass without gaining a Curiosity stack, 1 stack is lost.

Husk of Opulent Dreams increases Chiori’s DEF and Geo DMG Bonus. This boosts her abilities as a Sub-DPS and gives her considerable off-field abilities through the 4-piece passive. It is undeniably the best artifact set for Chiori and is worth farming for a full 4-piece set.

2-Piece: Increases Elemental Skill DMG by 20%.

4-Piece: Increases Elemental Skill DMG by 25%. Additionally, when not on the field, Elemental Skill DMG will be further increased by 25%. This effect will be cleared 2s after taking the field.

Golden Troupe is an alternate option that primarily focuses on increasing the damage dealt by Chiori’s Elemental Skill. While her Elemental Skill is a priority this set does not increase the abilities of her Elemental Burst, therefore it is not as beneficial as Husk of Opulent Dreams.

2-Piece: Geo DMG Bonus +15%.

4-Piece: Upon obtaining an Elemental Shard created through a Crystallize Reaction, all party members gain 35% DMG Bonus for that particular element for 10s. Only one form of Elemental DMG Bonus can be gained in this manner at any one time.

Archaic Petra is a very niche set. It should really only be used early in the game if you have not yet unlocked the Inazuma domain for Husk of Opulent Dreams. It is best used as a 2-piece set combination with a different artifact set to get the Geo DMG Bonus.

Chiori’s signature weapon is Uraku Misugiri. It has high base ATK and CRIT DMG levels along with a passive ability that Chiori can take full advantage of. It increases her Normal Attack DMG, Elemental Skill DMG, and DEF. It is the best weapon for her and is currently available in the Version 4.5 Phase 1 Weapon Banner.

Mistsplitter Reforged is the next best 5-star weapon for Chiori. It increases her Elemental DMG and has a reasonably high CRIT DMG as a secondary stat.

Other 5-star weapons that Chiori can use include: Haran Geppaku Futsu and Primordial Jade Cutter.

The best 4-star weapon is the Cinnabar Spindle. Unfortunately this sword was only available for a limited time during the Version 2.3 event Shadows Amidst Snowstorms. There is currently no way to obtain this weapon. It has a high DEF value and increases Chiori’s Elemental Skill DMG. The cooldown period does not affect Chiori due to the timing of Tamoto’s DMG dealing abilities.

Harbinger of Dawn is the F2P weapon for Chiori. It can easily be obtained and refined due a high level to give your Chiori lots of CRIT DMG and CRIT Rate. If you do use this weapon you will need to focus on Chiori’s ATK and DEF values when building her artifacts.

Other 4-star weapons that Chiori can use include: Festering Desire (Event), The Black Sword (Battle Pass), Wolf-Fang (Battle Pass), Fleuve Cendre Ferryman (Fishing).

Main DPS: Arataki Itto (C0+) → Deals damage through his Normal and Charged Attacks.
Sub DPS: Chiori (C0+) → Deals damage through her Elemental Skill. Increases the team’s Geo DMG Bonus with 4th Ascension Passive.
Sub DPS: Gorou (C0+) → Provides Geo DMG Bonus.
Shield: Zhongli (C0+) → Provides a safe environment for the team through a shield.

Main DPS: Navia (C0+) → Deals damage through her Elemental Skill and triggers Elemental Shard.
Sub DPS: Chiori (C0+) → Deals damage through her Elemental Skill. Increases the team’s Geo DMG Bonus with 4th Ascension Passive.
Sub DPS: Furina (C0+) → Elemental Skill provides off-field Hydro DMG and application.
Healer: Bennett (C0+) → Elemental Burst provides ATK buff and heals teammates.

Main DPS: Ningguang (C0+) → Deals Geo DMG with her Normal Attacks.
Sub DPS: Chiori (C0+) → Deals damage through her Elemental Skill. Increases the team’s Geo DMG Bonus with 4th Ascension Passive.
Sub DPS: Gorou (C0+) → Provides Geo DMG Bonus.
Shield: Noelle (C0+) → Provides a safe environment for the team through a shield.

So, what are the pros and cons of Chiori?

Pros:

  • Reliable off-field Geo DMG
  • Simple to use
  • Elemental Burst has reasonably high stats

Cons:

  • Limited team compositions
  • Low Normal Attack stats

The final decision as to whether you get her is up to you! Good Luck Travellers~
