All 50 Spirit Carps in Liyue 4.4

There are 50 Spirit Carps in the new Liyue 4.4: Chenyu Vale: Upper Vale, Chenyu Vale: Southern Mountain, and Mt. Laixin. A friendly reminder that I start collecting after I finish all the new quests in this area so I recommend completing them first before following this guide as there are multiple locked areas that will only be unlocked after you have done the quests.

Another note is that once you collect 40 Spirit Carps, you can go to the Rainjade Rite and ask it to locate the remaining Spirit Carps.

8 Spirit Carps in Qiaoying Village

Starting now, I will be marking the waypoints above with numbers so you can follow much more easily. Instead of saying “Teleport to Qiaoying Village southwest waypoint,” I will mention “Teleport to waypoint #1.”

1. Teleport to S7 Upper Vale and head south towards the mountain in front. There is multiple Golden Carp’s Leap so use that and forget sprinting. At the spot, defeat the Anemo Slimes to unseal the chest and there will be a wind current after opening the chest. Glide to get the Spirit Carp.
2. From the previous location, glide northeast towards the next Spirit Carp, or you can use the Golden Carp’s Leap at the top of the waterfall.
3. Teleport to S7 Upper Vale and head west. Climb the boat pole to get the Spirit Carp.
4. Teleport to Waypoint #1 and glide northeast to the top of the house.

5. Teleport to Waypoint #2 and head to the tea cauldron in the middle of the Qiaoying Village.
6. From the previous spot, head north towards the Chunming Teaworks (the huge mansion) and climb the roof to get the next Spirit Carp.
7. Teleport to Waypoint #3 and head north past the multiple Ruin enemies guarding an Exquisite Chest towards a Spirit Carp behind a spiderweb.
8. Go back to the Ruin enemies before, and defeat them until the treasure chest is unlocked. In front of that chest should be a shining spot, take it. Head south towards the hole with a Ruin Guard guarding the entrance of an underground cave. Give it the Ruin Machine Core and defeat it to get the Spirit Carp. Extra: Defeat the Treasure Hoarders in there to get a Precious Chest.

9 Spirit Carps in Mt. Lingmeng

9. Teleport to Waypoint #4 and head northeast using the Golden Carp’s Leap. Use the next Golden Carp’s Leap to get the Spirit Carp above the said Leap.
10. From the previous spot, head northwest also using another Golden Carp’s Leap towards the top of the mountain. You can see the Spirit Carp on top of a tree. Climb the tree or use the Wrathful Simulacrum near the tree to launch a Golden Carp’s Leap in the direction of your choice.
11. Head east towards the pavilion and you should see multiple glowing orbs on top of the pavilion. Collect all of them and there will be a new Golden Carp’s Leap on top of the pavilion that will bring you to the Spirit Carp’s Leap above.
12. Teleport to Waypoint #5 and head north using the Golden Carp’s Leap and glide towards the floating platform and get the Spirit Carp below the platform.

13. Teleport to Waypoint #6 and walk to the center of the platform. This is related to A Wangshan Walk to Remember quest so hopefully you already completed the quest as the Spirit Carp is locked behind a gate. Use the Golden Carp’s Leap to reach the floating Spirit (There’s a back door after completing the quest but I don’t know if you can enter through there if you haven’t completed it yet).
14. Teleport to Waypoint #7 and use the Golden Carp to reach the top of the mountain faster. There, you need to solve the Simulacrum puzzles where you need to place the carving stone at the correct tile. You can see the image above for the solution. Once solved, you will get a Luxurious Chest and a Golden Carp to reach the Spirit.
15. Teleport to Waypoint #8 and glide south slowly. The Spirit is on a tree that is arching.
16. Teleport to Waypoint #8 and head north. Use the Golden Carp to reach the Spirit on top of the gate.

17. From your previous spot, head northwest to the shore.

7 Spirit Carps in Mt. Mingyuan & Yilong Wharf

18. Teleport to Waypoint #9 and glide east towards the top of the ship.
19. Teleport to Waypoint #9 and head north. You should see the Time Trial Challenge in front of the watchtower. Complete the challenge and once you claim the treasure chest, a Golden Carp’s Leap will appear and bring you to the Spirit Carp at the top of the tower.
20. The Golden Carp from before will bring you to the mountain. From there, head southwest and you can see a Precious Chest with 3 Seelie Courts around it. Complete the puzzle (use Elemental Sight to see the general direction of each Seelie) and a Golden Carp will appear to bring you to the Spirit Carp floating high above.
21. Teleport to Waypoint #10 and glide southeast to get the Spirit near the tree.

22. From the previous spot, glide southwest to the top of the watchtower.
23. Teleport to Waypoint #11 and head west for another Spirit on an arching tree.
24. Teleport to Waypoint #11 and head south towards the top of the mountain. There, use the Flighty Simulacrum to jump super high and get the Spirit.

11 Spirit Carps in Yaodie Valley

25. Teleport to Waypoint #12 and look to your east, there should be Golden Carp’s Leap. Use that Leap to teleport on top of that pot and enter the pot to get the Spirit.
26. Get out of that pot and head southwest towards the underground Lingshu Courtyard. I’m unaware if this area is locked beforehand or not but if it is, complete the Silently the Butterfly Crosses the Valley quest.
27. Further inside the cave, use the Golden Carp’s Leap to get into the medicine jar with the Spirit in it.
28. Get out of the medicine jar and head north towards the spider cobweb.

29. Teleport to Waypoint #13 and head south to see a wreck of a building with Hilichurls digging around it. It’s better to defeat them first because they’re a hindrance and once you’re done, enter the building through one of the windows and you will see a windmill. Use Anemo on the windmill to generate wind current and it will lift the platform to the Spirit Carp.
30. From the previous spot on top of the platform, glide west towards a small mountain. Use the Golden Carp’s Leap and then the Flighty Simulacrum to get the Spirit Carp above.
31. From the previous spot, head south and glide slowly until you see an opening between the mountains. Glide under there to get the Spirit Carp.
32. Teleport to Waypoint #14 and walk forward (southwest). You should see a Wrathful Simulacrum on your right. Use it to get the Spirit Carp floating high above.

33. Teleport to Waypoint #15 and glide down slowly towards the Spirit Carp.
34. From the previous location, use the various Golden Carp’s Leap to get above the pavilion.
35. From the previous spot, climb to the top of that mountain. There will be a Flighty Simulacrum on top of that mountain. Jump up and there will be a Golden Carp’s Leap that will lead you to the Spirit Carp.

13 Spirit Carps in Chizang Wall

36. Teleport to Waypoint #16 and head southwest towards the mountain with a Wrathful Simulacrum on top of it. Use that Simulacrum to get the Spirit Carp just above you.
37. Teleport to Waypoint #16 and head east. Use the Golden Leap’s Carp to reach the Spirit. If you can’t reach it, use the Wrathful Simulacrum nearby to generate more.
38. Teleport to Waypoint #17 and glide south towards the dilapidated building. Once you’re in, you will be locked in with a gate. Go to the level below and destroy the breakable rock to get the Spirit under it. For the locked gate, I destroy all the Pyro bombs and interact with the switch beside the treasure chest twice.
39. From the previous location, head northwest toward the boss arena but slowly glide downwards. The Spirit is floating just below the pointy rock.

40. Teleport to S7 Southern Mt and head south towards the spot with many Ruin enemies (It’s better to destroy them first since they’re a hindrance). You should see a Spirit Carp locked behind a gate. The key is inside the pool of water just beside the gate, and you need to pick up the ancient ruins (press T on the keyboard) to make the water go away so you can pick up the key. This ruin is essential for another puzzle for Spirit Carp #45.
41. From the previous spot, climb the southwest mountain to the top and you will see a Simulacrum chilling with a cooking pot. The Spirit Carp is just on top of it.
42. Look to your east and you can see multiple Golden Carp’s Leap. Use the Golden Carp to reach the floating Spirit Carp high above.
43. Teleport to S7 Southern Mt and jump north for the Spirit Carp.

44. Teleport to S7 Southern Mt and head east to Chizhang Wall. Use the Golden Carp’s Leap to get the Spirit Carp between the gate.
45. Enter the ruin in front of you to get the next Spirit Carp. If you haven’t solved it yet, I have made a separate guide on how to solve it here: How To Open The Locked Gate in Chizhang Wall
46. Teleport to Waypoint #18 and head west. You can see a Golden Carp’s Leap when gliding there so use it and head to a not-so-hidden small cavern on your left (it’s on the same level as the Golden Carp’s Leap, no need to glide down or go upwards) with the Spirit Carp in it.
47. Teleport to Waypoint #19 and glide north to the top of the huge Jade gate. At the top, there should be a Golden Carp’s Leap in the middle of the Jade gate (or click Investigate on the shining spot), interact with it to start a challenge and you will reach the opposite side of the mountain and unseal the lock to the cavern behind it. There’s a Luxurious Chest and a Spirit Carp behind it.

48. Teleport to Waypoint #18 and look to your north. Go to the middle and top of that Jade gate and glide down slowly to the swirly part of the gate for the Spirit Carp inside it.

2 Spirit Carps in Chiwang Terrace

49. Teleport to Waypoint #20 and once arrived, turn around and glide down slowly to get the Spirit Carp on top of a floating rock.
50. Teleport to Waypoint #20 again and head southwest towards the huge mechanism thingy in the sky (I forgot the name). Glide down slowly to get the Spirit Carp floating mid-air.
