➥ And complete Archon Quest Prologue: Act III “Song of the Dragon and Freedom”
※ Complete Archon Quest Chapter I: Act III “A New Star Approaches” and Xianyun’s Story Quest “Grus Serena Chapter: Act I” first to get the best experience from this event.
※ Complete Furina’s Story Quest “Animula Choragi Chapter: Act I” before accepting the quest “Hustle and Bustle” to best enjoy the event.

Event Overview:
➥ During the event, the following gameplay modes will unlock in sequence: “Paper Shadows A-Foraging,” “Joyful Beasts and Their Auspices,” and “Iridescent Cloud-Striding.”
➥ In the “Paper Shadows A-Foraging” gameplay, Travelers can watch unique “Paper Theater” and guide Guoba and Yuegui to find ingredients and cook mouth-wateringly delicious dishes.
➥ In the “Joyful Beasts and Their Auspices” gameplay, Travelers can play “Just Wushou Dance!” with three others, competing to grab various Teabricks, and experience the boisterous Wushou atmosphere.
➥ In the “Iridescent Cloud-Striding” gameplay, Travelers can challenge racing trials, and make skillful use of the “Golden Carp’s Leap” to agilely traverse the mountains of Chenyu Vale.
➥ Complete the event’s various gameplay modes to gain Festive Fever. Reach a certain amount of Festive Fever to obtain Xingqiu’s outfit “Bamboo Rain” and a 4-star character from Liyue of your choice.
➥ Xingqiu’s outfit “Bamboo Rain” will be available for purchase in the Character Outfit Shop after the end of Version 4.4, which will be priced at 1,680 Genesis Crystals.

Paper Shadows A-Foraging

Gameplay Tutorial

Press the relevant buttons or use the movement keys to consume movement points and guide Guoba and Yuegui. Hold the button to move continuously.
The challenge will be deemed a success once all characters have reaches the ingredient’s potion.

Each move of the starting point cart or boxes within the stage will be recorded. Use the Recall function to restore the stage layout to its previously recorded state. It can be used 3 times consecutively.

When Guoba or Yuegui leave the starting point cart, the areas they pass through will be marked. Marked areas will be deemed inaccessible. Returning along the marked path will restore moves consumed.

Touch the key to release the corresponding lock. If you cannot reach the key, try pushing boxes or some other method…

Press the portrait(s) or use the number keys to switch the character you are controlling. In stages where Yuegui and Guoba are both present, you must guide them both to the ingredient’s position for the challenge to be deemed a success.

When Guoba and Yuegui are at the starting point cart, the cart can be pushed by another character. You can reach some special locations this way…

Stage 1: Fragrant Mountain Delicacies

1) Let Guoba push the box first before getting the ingredients.

Stage 2: Wandering Fowl Warm and Cool

1) Push Yuegui towards the box so you can get the key.

2) Get Yuegui to return to the cart to restore the number of movements.

3) Go straight down towards the ingredient.

Stage 3: Sealed Flavors of the Sea

1) Move Guoba to the left side and towards the box to move it to the right.

2) Get Guoba to return to the cart to restore the number of movements.

3) Now lead Guoba to the right side and push the box until the end to reach the key.

4) Go down to get the ingredients.

Stage 4: Smoky Savoriness

1. Move Guoba to the right and upwards to move box #1 to the top.
2. Return Guoba to their cart.

3. Move Yuegui to lift box #2 just below box #1.
4. Return Yuegui to their cart.

5. Move Yuegui to make box #2 reach the silver key.
6. Return Yuegui to their cart.

7. Move both Guoba and Yuegui towards the ingredient.

Stage 5: Eight Treasured Flavors

1. Move Guoba and push box #1 towards the silver key.
2. Return Guoba back to their cart.

3. Move Yuegui to push box #2 downwards.

4. Return a few steps back to restore move(s) and push box #2 again to the left.
5. Return Yuegui to their cart.

6. Switch to Guoba and move it to push the box and get the red key.
7. After you get the key, move Guoba to the ingredient.

8. Switch to Yuegui and push box #1 to the upper line (follow the red arrow).
9. Return Yuegui to their cart and go upwards to push the box to the green key (follow the green arrow).
10. After you get the key, move Yuegui to the ingredient.

Stage 6: Intricately Stuffed

1. Use Yuegui to push box #1 to the left.
2. Return Yuegui to their cart.

3. Move Guoba so that box #1 will reach the silver key at the bottom left corner. There are a lot of retracing steps here so you can get back move(s). Look at the 4 images above for all Guoba movements.

4. After you get the silver key, move Guoba to push box 3 near the red key.
5. Return Guoba to their cart.

6. Switch to Yuegui and move it to push box #3 downwards. You won’t use this box anymore.
7. Return Yuegui to their cart.

8. First, move Yuegui from its cart and push box #2 downwards once (follow the red arrow).
9. Then, switch to Guoba and push box #2 to the right (follow the green arrow).
10. Return Guoba to their cart.

11. Move Yuegui to push box #2 right on top of the red key (follow the red arrow).
12. Retrace your steps to restore move(s) and push box #2 to get the red key (follow the green arrow).

13. Move both Guoba and Yuegui to the ingredient.

Stage 7: Glazed Ablaze

1. Make Guoba push Yuegui to the right once. Then, switch to Yuegui and take the red key.
2. Return both of them to the original position.

3. Now make Yuegui push Guoba to the left once. Then, switch to Guoba and take the blue key.

4. Lastly, move both of them towards the ingredient.

Stage 8: Slow Steamed Succulent

1. Move Yuegui so it can push the box towards in front of Guoba. Yuegui doesn’t have enough move(s) so you need to retrace its steps to restore some move.

2. Now move Guoba to push the box towards the blue key. Guoba also doesn’t have enough move(s) so retrace its steps when you need to so you can make the box reach the key.
3. After that, go back to their own cart.

4. Make Guoba push Yuegui to the left once. Then, move Yuegui to get the red key.
5. Go back to their own cart.

6. Move Yuegui so it can push Guoba downwards once (follow the red arrow).
7. Lastly, move both of them to reach the ingredient (follow the green arrow).

Stage 9: Juicy, Just Juicy

1. Move Yuegui to get the blue key. Then, return it to its cart.

2. Now, move Guoba to push the box downwards until it’s in the same lane as the green key (follow the red arrow). After that, return Guoba to its cart so it can push Yuegui to the right side once (follow the green arrow).
3. Return Guoba to its cart.

4. Move Yuegui to push the box and get the green key. Then, return it to its cart.

5. Now, move Guoba to push Yuegui’s cart to the left once before returning Guoba to its cart (follow the red arrow).
6. Move Yuegui to push Guoba’s cart to the right once before returning Yuegui to its cart (follow the green arrow).

7. Move Guoba to get the red key at the top lane.
8. After that, move Guoba to push Yuegui’s cart to the right side once before returning Guoba to its own cart.

9. Now, move Yuegui so it can push Guoba’s cart to the left once before returning to its cart (follow the red arrow).
10. Then move Guoba so it can push Yuegui’s cart to the right side once (follow the green arrow). If you’re confused, just look at the next image to see the final position of their carts.

11. Lastly, move both of them towards the ingredients.

Joyful Beasts and Their Auspices

Gameplay Tutorial

In “Joyful Beasts and Their Auspices, ” you must complete stage objectives within the time limit and score the highest amount of points possible.
Press to use your Skill and don a special Wushou Dance puppet costume to enter Bumper Wushou mode and knock aside other participants that you come into contact with. When two parties in Bumper Wushou come into contact with each other, both parties will have their Wushou mode deactivated.

“Joyful Beasts and Their Auspices” has a total of 3 stages for players to choose from. Different stage and game mode rules can be viewed under Gameplay Details.

“Joyful Beasts and Their Auspices” has 2 gameplay modes: You can invite multiple teammates to play together or match with other players.
4 participants are required to start “Joyful Beasts and Their Auspices.”

In the “Good Things Come Rolling In” stage, you need to collect as many Lucky Teabricks as possible within the time limit to score points.
Lucky Teabricks come in small and large forms, and the latter are worth more points.

Use your Bumper Wushou to knock other participants away. You can also obtain any Lucky Teabricks dropped by other participants.

In the “Race to the Top” stage, the more Valor you possess, the higher your score when the challenge ends.
You can use the following methods to gain Valor: Gaining and holding onto Fortune Teabricks, staying on the platform(s), and using your Bumper Wushou to knock away other participants.

A Fortune Teabrick will appear on the field at intervals, and the first player to pick one up will hold it for a time, during which they will gain Valor continuously.
If the holder is sent flying by another participant using Bumper Wushou, they will lose said Fortune Teabrick, and the one who sent them flying will gain a fixed reward.

Parts of the field will rise at intervals to turn into elevated platforms. Stay on these platforms to continuously gain Valor.
At the same time, you will continuously lose Valor if you remain in the hazardous areas that appear.

In the “To Pluck Good Fortune” stage, participants start with Mildness. When the challenge starts, participants will be affected by Super Spicy Spirit and continuously lose Mildness.
When the challenge ends, the more Mildness you still have, the higher your score will be.

Safe zones will also appear on the field at intervals. Enter them to avoid the effects of Super Spicy Spirit.

Prosperous Teabricks will appear on the field at intervals. Collect them to gain a certain amount of Mildness.

Super Spicy Wok Hey will explode across the challenge area at intervals. You will receive a warning before Super Spicy Wok Hey appears.
If you are unable to get into a safe zone and avoid the Super Spicy Wok Hey shockwave before it hits, you will lose a lot of Mildness.

Iridescent Cloud-Striding

During Iridescent Cloud-Striding challenges, you must reach your destination while collecting as many Jade Lotus Lanterns on the way to obtain a score as high as possible.

Ominous Lanterns will be present during the challenge. You will have points deducted if you pick them up.
After you come into contact with Fireworks Lanterns, they will explode, and you will trigger the pick-up effects of all objects within the explosion radius.

There will be “Cunning Plans” to be picked up near the Golden Carp’s Leap pearls. These can help you complete the coming challenges.

After picking a “Cunning Plan: Cash Advance” up, Jade Lotus Lanterns will appear before you for a limited time. This will help you obtain a higher score.

After picking up a “Cunning Plan: Crisis Adaptation” up, Ominous Lanterns before you will regularly turn into Tranquil Lanterns. Take this opportunity to score more points.

After picking up a “Cunning Plan: Pyrotechnical Amusement,” special moving Fireworks Lanterns will appear before you, and during the next Golden Carp’s Leap, you will score double points.
