PSA #1: Think of Raiden as basically a 5-star Fishcl that can also burst DPS quite well. While you do lose damage compared to something like a C4-6 Fischl, you have a higher uptime and can control who it hits/reactions better! Below is an example of an extremely strong comp that Raiden compliments well (will include other DPS comps below!)
- main DPS that benefits very well from 100% superconduct procs when paired with Raiden’s E
- Extremely low E CD that has good Cryo AoE + based on Phys DMG
- Q gets enhanced from Raiden’s E passive, meaning it will do A LOT more damage when it explodes
- CAN BE REPLACED WITH DILUC, BEIDOU, KEQING, CHILDE, HU TAO, OR BASICALLY ANY OTHER DPS
- E proc’s Hydro that can pair well with Eula E for Freeze OR with Raiden’s E for Electro-Charged
- Provides much needed damage resistance + minor heal via sword shield from E + Q
- Q provides amazing Hydro DPS that gets buffed from Raiden’s E + works well with Raiden’s Q form as well
- CAN BE REPLACED WITH KUJOU SARA, FISCHL, MONA, XIANGLING, OR ANEMO CHARACTERS FOR AOE CC
- E provides a strong shield that’s low CD + can be a decent battery for Cryo
- Q consistently applies Cryo and heals allies. At C6 it turns into an EM buff as well
- Can run 4x Noblesse to provide even further ATK buffs to team + provides Cryo resonance
- CAN BE REPLACED WITH BENNETT, BARBARA, OR A SHIELD CHARACTER FOR FURTHER TANKINESS
PSA #2: Above is an great comp for Eula, as it gives her unlimited Superconduct procs + Freeze/Cryo resonance for free CRIT%. Raiden can also be slotted as a burst DPS in any comp as well, so if you have DPS like Beidou or Keqing that have downtimes Raiden can come in clutch. Below some more quick team comps you can slot with Raiden Shogun!

Diluc/Hu Tao Comp (Pyro)
- Diluc (main DPS) – Extremely low E CD that can proc Raiden’s E every other E/NA weave. Turns his burst into an even stronger nuke from Raiden E passive
- Hu Tao (main DPS) – Her E pairs well with Raiden’s E + allows her Q to become a nuke at lower HP
- Kazuha – Great for boosting team’s Pyro DMG via his E passive and provides great AoE CC
- Bennett – Insanely strong heals + ATK buff + provides Pyro resonance for even more ATK
Beidou/Keqing Comp (Electro)
- Beidou (main DPS) – Even with the Q interaction issue, Raiden can still generate and insane amount of energy for Beidou. Can also be burst DPS when Beidou’s Q is on CD
- Keqing (main DPS) – For both Phys and Electro Keqing, Raiden can provide tons of energy + infinitely proc Electro resonance.
- Mona – Amazing for grouping AoE with E taunt and applying Hydro, allowing for Electro-charged. When paired with Raiden’s E, her Q nuke is even stronger
- Barbara – Not the best healer, but ideal for also spreading Hydro. Otherwise take Diona if Phys Keqing or Bennett for everything else (Jean works as well)
Childe Comp (Hydro)
- Childe – His Riptide (in both bow/melee/Q) can proc Raiden’s E + free Electro-Charged stagger during his melee form (E)
- Kujou Sara – Can provide easy ATK buffs + free Electro-Charged from her E’s charged attack/Q
- Xingqiu – Provides much needed shielding + provides a Hydro Res debuff to enemies. His Q is also welcomed additional DPS
- Bennett – Strong heals, ATK buff, and free Vaporize for days
Yoimiya Comp (Pyro)
- Xingqiu – Free Vaporize damage when paired with Q + makes you tankier
- Bennett – Stand in his Q to get a free ATK buff
- Fischl – Provides Electro resonance when paired with Raiden + more off-field Enabler damage

hello, for keqing comp, aside from mona, which character can I substitute her with? I’m new at this game so I’m still confused abt certain things. for now, I use keqing (phys since i don’t have much items for electro build), raiden, xingqiu and kaeya as my team comp (should i also replace kaeya with diona?). other chars that i have currently is kujou sara, sucrose, barbara, xiangling, yanfei, noelle, fischl, razor,lisa and amber.
I think u will do with a Raiden, Keqing, Xingqiu and either a Diona or a Barbara on the last slot
Diona for shields and Barbara for more lethal electrocharged reactions while raiden’s E is active plus barbara is also a good healer but no shields
i personally play a raiden and keqing comp team and my mainstay is xingqiu then either diona or barbara. i still dont have bennett but if i have him he automatically takes the fourth slot
