Unfinished Comedy | Caterpillar’s Story: Prologue

➥ An extremely long quest, especially if you’re lost on what to do. If you already completed the Archon Quest above, you will automatically reach the location to start this quest, but if you haven’t completed the quest yet, follow the directions below. There is also a Mysterious Ore that you’ll find and need to progress in another quest.

➥ Teleport to the Liffey Region underwater waypoint (near Mont Esus East) and you will see huge pipes on your right (north), swim to that huge pipe and look down to see a tunnel that leads downward. Keep following that tunnel until you’re spotted by a guard NPC and brought to the reception area of the Fortress of Meropide. Another option is to get caught by the lights on the ‘watch tower’ (also near this location), and you’ll be arrested after that.

➥ After completing the Unfinished Comedy quest, bring Caterpillar to the Narzissenkreuz Ordo. You will trigger Riddles Awaiting Answers.

Initial Facts

➥ At the same time, if you already completed quests in Fontaine 4.0 of Ancient Colors and Ann of the Narzissenkreuz, you will also trigger the Initial Facts quest.

Fontaine Research Institute | Fontaine Research Institute, Stagnating in the Rubble

➥ Another main quest aside from Unfinished Comedy. This quest will let you reach the floating water buildings in the air. There are a few Hydroculus in that location so it’s better to finish this quest as fast as you can. You can start the quest by talking to Fontaine Katheryne. She will lead you to a place to have the preliminary qualification review in Mont Esus East so just follow the quest navigation.

Treacherous Light of the Depths

➥ A hidden quest that can only be started once you reach a specific location underwater; it’s full of puzzles instead of dialogues. You will unlock an underwater area here and also 2 Hydroculus. There is also a Mysterious Ore that you’ll find and need to progress in another quest.

➥ Teleport to the waypoint east from the Statue of the Seven in Fontaine Research Institute of Kinetic Energy Engineering Region. Once you arrive, dive into the water on your west and move sharp left until you find a Xenochromatic Jellyfish and a breakable rock (use Elemental Sight). Destroy the rock using Jellyfish’s ability and keep swimming inside the new path until you get the quest.

Villains

➥ This is a short but sweet quest where you need to help a little girl find her big brother while helping a weird fake entity craft a potion. Teleport to the waypoint east from the Statue of the Seven in Fontaine Research Institute of Kinetic Energy Engineering Region. After you arrive, head south following the path and you will see the quest icon on the map, coming from a child NPC surrounded by another 2 male NPCs.

Road to the Singularity

➥ Road to the Singularity is a quest that will unlock a huge underground ruin underneath the New Fontaine Research Institute. Inside the ruin, you will get a Hydroculus and a Mysterious Ore. Teleport to waypoint northeast from Millenial Pearl Seahorse and head northeast towards the cave.

➥ Inside the cave, there is a Pneuma Terminal and you can use a nearby Ousia Block or your Ousia character to activate the Terminal and open the lift. By the end of the lift, you will automatically get the Road to the Singularity quest. Follow the quest navigation until you find a male NPC trapped inside a cage.

Our Purpose Is in Another Canal

➥ You might have noticed this quest when completing the Unfinished Comedy quest because you will reach the quest spot at one point. Anyway, this quest is pretty short with decent puzzles for you to solve. Teleport to the waypoint northwest of New Fontaine Research Institute and head west to the shore and you will notice a quest icon on the map. Talk to Aigouy to start the quest.

In Search of Lost Time

➥ In Search of Lost Time is quite a hard quest because although you know who’s the NPC you need to deal with, the quest won’t help you mark the locations of all towers you need to find to get the quest items. By the end of this quest, you can unlock one locked tower and get a Luxurious Chest from it.

➥ Teleport to New Fontaine Research Institute southwest waypoint and head southeast towards the broken bridge. You should see the quest icon on top of the bridge. Talk to Broglie to start the quest. There are 3 towers you need to find, and the quest will only appear on your Quest Book after getting near to the exact location.

Both Brains and Brawn

➥ You can only get to start this quest after completing the Unfinished Comedy quest in the Fortress of Meropide. In this quest, you need to help Genevieve and Poiret win an exhibition match in Boxing Showdown. After completing the Unfinished Comedy quest, go back to the Fortress of Meropide waypoint and head south where you can see Genevieve and Roussimoff (There are no quest icons on top of them). Once you get near them, you will automatically get the quest. After that, follow the navigation to meet Genevieve and Poiret.

A Letter

➥ Can be started only after you complete the Fontaine Research Institute Chronicles and A Certain Notice, A Certain Trifle, A Certain Stamp. After that, wait for a daily reset and the quest will automatically appear on your Quest Navigation.
